Tag manager for everything or separate codes?

Do you use Google Tag manager for everything or do you have separate codes, like for your Search console verification or Google analytics implementation?

I used to do it separately but I discovered how simple you can manage everything with Google Tag manager. It comes in handy especially if you have multiple websites to manage.
Has a bit of a learning curve if you ask me, I had some problems at first and I'm not quite an expert on fixing complicated "triggers" and "custom event trackings".

What about you? Any tips on mastering Google Tag manager? Maybe some good tutorials?

I've never used Google Tag Manager, normally I use Analytics and Search Console, but Tag Manager looks like a great and more advanced option.

If you need tutorials here are some:
  1. Recommended, a magnificent course (created by Google): https://analyticsacademy.withgoogle.com/course/5

Thanks for the tutorial shares codebots! Will definitely check them out even though I started to learn TagManager a little bit better than I used to, I started to improve in creating custom trackings.

I have seen the point in using the google tag manager. But didn't see much use of it for my personal case. I think for some people using the random codes at the footer is lot better. You can see that these days many SEO users are making use of the tag manager. And it won't be that easy to make use of such tags for every site. Some of the dynamic site with privacy policy. It'd be harder to make use of the google services. As it'd lead to you editing privacy policy for that clause. I avoid analytics on some of the clients dashboard for same reason.
