Using Google Correlate to find new keywords?

Is Google Correlate a good tool to find new keywords?
I think Google Correlate is pretty underrated and few SEOs used it. It's a great way to find keyword patterns; related keywords and synonyms

Another cool tool is Correlate Labs is Search by drawing: Search by drawing: https://www.google.com/trends/correlate/draw?p=us

It correlates your curve drawing with a real popularity curve on real keywords. I don't know exactly how this supposed to be used but I guess if you keep on drawing random curves you will eventually find some unique niches or rare keyword trends.

I've made this random curve and this are the results (check out the keywords):

Hi Cristian. It certainly looks interesting. It looks similar to Google Trends though? How does Google Correlate differ from Google Trends? Is it because it suggests related keywords and synonyms?

Hey Lynne! First of all it correlates beween keywords, starting with your main keyword.

It's not the same as Google trend in this aspect. Also here you can draw the curve youself and Google will actually correlate that drawing with a real Google trend for a certain keyword phrase, so you never know what are you going to get or discover...
