Do you broadcast live video on Facebook?

Since i heard of this new feature introduced by Facebook, to make live broadcasting, i was always curios about it and excited to try it for my self. For some time it was not available to all people, then after it was possible from some countries to broadcast, then in meantime i even forgot about it, so i have to check if it's available for anyone to do, so i can play with that, as it sounds like FUN
But did anyone of you try it so far and can you share your experience, how effective it is to do live broadcasting, specially when it comes to social media marketing??

I've seen a lot of people doing this recently and I wonder how affective it is. I get notifications of people being "Live" and I never really check them out. I mainly don't check them out because every time I've seen the notification, they're already done broadcasting lol.

From a marketing stand point, I think this would work really well for some people who have big pages that are personalized. Like if someone is trying to brand themselves and not a business name. I know there are plenty of people out there that have tons of followers on facebook and if they just set up a broadcast whenever they're doing something, I'm sure it would be a hit since all the people following him or her will get notified when he or she is live. You could even take it one step further and notify everyone by posting on your profile that you're going live tomorrow at whatever time you choose, and I'm sure people will remember to check you out. This could also be a really good way for people to build an email list muahahaha. You could post something like "I'll be going live at 3pm CST tomorrow. If you're worried about missing out, just go HERE (a link to a website) and fill out the form and we'll notify you an hour beforehand!" Facebook notifies people that someone is live when they begin, but you can collect peoples emails an let them know you'll be live in an hour

I go live all the time man it is great face book can be a really useful tool you know if you use face book for business purposes it can be a good outlet to show everyone what you have going on especially if you do free lance work people can comment and converse with you as you stream your feed and that can benefit you in answering any questions any body may have on what you have going on , and even for social purposes you want to go live for friends and family you can live is great , should definitely try it out.

Glad to hear that from someone who use it, and nice to hear you positive feedback on that. Long ago i was watching some videos about it on YouTube and it was very impressive, so i guess i will try to play with that and test what i can achieve. For beginning i maybe start broadcasting some live music to my friends until i get some experience with that, but i bet it's pure FUN

yea man listen it really is a no brainer and on top of everything if people follow you on face book then you are good to go those followers will receive a notification saying you are online and using live of curse they watch on there own you cant force views on live it is a live stream video, but you know you do some reaching out get your followers up and make sure that your live post consist of topics and things that the people who's attention you want are interested in trust once you get going it ends up being common knowledge.

Hi anwebservices thanks for your nice sharing. Yes I saw each day lot of people using this new facebook feature like live broadcasting. But I never use myself. But, it should be useful. And as per as I know there has not restriction to use this feature. Any once can use it. Specially I saw may celebrity use live broadcasting feature. But, I think this feature will useful for communication with friends and family to know them directly. And it will be more useful, if anybody making business based on facebook as supporting online for any services.
I am planning to use for my online services as soon as possible.

I so want to try out Facebook Live but I am just a little bit nervous to give it a go... I am not sure what I would do with it.

But yes I will decide on something soon and get going with it, I think it will be an amazing way to get engagement and more followers!

Well you are already active YouTuber, so instead recording video you can go live sometime, on some occasions and test what brings you better results. Depend how good or big your Facebook audience is, but something interesting is spreading out fast and i guess it can get you more followers. Yet, don't take it so seriously, you can play bit with that for fun too

Yes I saw that it was used by some businesses as well as celebrities, and it was pretty fun as you get to view exactly what is happening at that time. I think that businesses should use it wisely as it is a good way to make them get that little bit closer to their customers and followers. It sort of makes them add that personal touch which is something that many customers look forward to. It is important that during the live broadcast you acknowledge the audience from time to time while making sure you keep it as interesting as possible to encourage comments and feedback.

I actually saw some people using it but I have not tried it till date. My friend was once performing at a music festival and she posted it live on Facebook. At that time I was not really aware of live video on Facebook and I got curious and this is when I learnt about it.

I have several friends who go on live video broadcast on Facebook from time to time. I was actually surprised on the first time I chanced upon it because a small square appeared at the bottom left of my computer saying that one friend is live. And it’s a small video. Okay, that’s a new feature of Facebook. But I don’t think it has a relevance to me and I believe that feature is good for celebrities only. For ordinary mortals like us, who would watch us but our own family only.
