Should we have a section exclusively to sell physical items on seoclerks like a car

I am a top seller on Ebay and i know people are looking for new places to get better deals all the time. Seoclerks is already an established brand, we could use this to our advantage by offering a category to actual tangible items such as cars, clothes, electronics ETC. We could make it so we have to upload a tracking number once the item arrives the buyer has 24 hours to respond wit any problems. If that buyer has no problem the money should be released within 24 hours of delivery. I Also think we should have a different set of ratings like we do for buyers and sellers, but only for sellers who sell tangible Items. What do you think? Should Seoclerks start a Marktplace?

YES!!!! That would be awesome! I am always searching for new places to sell items! Recently eBay has gotten greedy with 10% (it's so scewed its not even funny. Their 10% when you do actual math is about 14-15%) I love the idea of selling tangible stuff on here! I am not sure if what I sell would be profitable on here or not, but it would be fun!

Im glad that you responded so fast! I agree Ebay has gotten a little out of control with their Fees, But with seoclerks already established brand and reputation maybe we could leverage that and make a good market place that could change the worldwide selling platform for good. I really hopes this idea takes off and opens some eyes up top, Seoclerks could be known for more than seo services.

There is already a website linked with SEO Clerks, I only found out about it the other day! Hitmeasap just added the link below for ListingDock, they also have another one specifically for coding and programming services but I can't remember what it is called... there was a previous discussion about that all here.

Hello jkeyz2,
SEOClerks might be up for a section like that, it might be a good addition to this marketplace, but ionicware already has something like this actually: listingdock.com.
Buy & Sell Anything

Welcome to the ListingDock. Browse through thousands of crafters, experts and hobbyists listings. Need something specific? Create a WTB or WTT.

Although, I know SEOClerks has way more traffic than Listingdock, so in terms of buyers, I'd say go with a section on that right here on SEOClerks. That way you'll be able to make more sales as a seller. You could start to sell whatever you want on Listingdock immediately, as you'll use the same account credentials to login on Listingdock too. Just like with CodeClerks.com

Best Regards,
hitmeasap

Well, I'm not so certain if they want the 20% fee associated with the marketplaces, maybe perhaps a more ebay like site where buyers can bid on an item. I wouldn't mind selling on ListingDock, however that cuts into profit too much. For instance, if you sell a $100 item, you'll only get $80 from it.

It's so hard to gain profit on ListingDock unless you buy wholesale and not everyone has the ability, nor the funds to do that.. I know I don't. :/ And also, I never knew ebay took 10%, that is very shocking. I remember when everyone wanted to sell on there, and no apparently no one does due to fees. Lol. Fees will get you every time.

It might not be a bad idea and actually it could be a way to make ListingDock more popular. It is promoted as a place where you can buy and sell anything, but it is only restricted to services as far as I know. I think it would be a good idea to have the possibility to sell products as well. The basics are there I guess, and it would be more about delivery issues which would need to be physical in this case. But it can be done, and I think it would actually be another great step for the site.

I thought about selling products on there.. tried to use a supplier, and find out that it just wouldn't be worth it. I mean it's nice place to get rid of things you have no use for.. like old movies, or even computers. But to use it as a site to gain profit on is not that great due to the 20% commission.

Plus, Amazon seems to have it's teeth in everything. That site is basically the #1 product marketplace on the internet at this time. It's hard to compete with them.

Hi jkeyz2 thanks for your question and sharing a new business idea. I do not disagree with you. But, you may know SEOclerks only based on SEO services, and people here selling service $1 to $999. so called web developed related services. And they do not allow such type of physical product and it is not possible to sell like car by $1 to $999. But, If ionicware wants to make new marketplace, this should be concern of them. But, based on SEOclerks such type of product selling may be not match of sprit of marketplace. Your offer is good and considerable but it should be different and unique marketplace e.g. ionicware other marketplaces.

Actually there are options to ship a service. If you go to create a new service you have an option to ship it and therefore shipping a product on the SEOclerks platform is allowed by default. However, not many people, if any, actually use the shipping option as most services here wouldn't need to be shipped unless you're mailing a physical copy of a report or something along those lines.
