    It has many reasons but as far as we see the question from the country point of view then China is somehow against USA.

    China is a communist country and freedom of speech is not available in China. China also restricts people's rights to receive information. Google and Facebook are not available in China. By using these sites, people can easily get information and speak freely. However, China does not want its people to receive information and speak freely. That's why Google and Facebook are banned on China.

    I was caught by surprise when we went to Beijing 2 years ago. I had no idea that Google and Facebook were banned in China. At first, I was wondering why I couldn’t connect to Facebook until my husband remarked that there is no Google and Facebook in China. This is a big issue for Google since China is the biggest market whether in digital or real world. I have a feeling that China is wanting to dominate the world by using its bigness to bully businesses. I hope I am wrong on this.

    I read about this a while back and I was a bit taken aback why a country should do that if not to restrict its citizens from freedom of speech and being exposed to the way of freedom.I think it affecting both sides, while google is losing money from China in terms of adverts money from businesses that would have come to China even book is also losing money and China is also losing money because they can't work with Google products and can't express themselves to the world through these different platforms.
