How to create landing pages

I have been told over and over again that landing pages are absolutely essential. What do you all think?

I tried investigating it once and there were 3 ways that interested me.

The first one was all these websites offering "free landing pages" but I just couldn't figure it all out. Like Wix.I am not good at design and I don't really want to put my effort in there to be honest. I gave up.

The next one was going with a paid service to create my own landing pages. I liked the look of Lead Pages and they came highly recommended to me by a number of great online marketers. However there was no free trial and the monthly cost of I think $37 was a bit high for me at that time. I was also worried it would take a lot of work to design them and like I mentioned I don't want to learn design stuff. I want to focus on my writing.

The third option is paying someone to do my landing pages... but who do I pay? Especially when I don't know too much about landing pages so I really don't even know what I want.

People are testing different ways of making landing pages and it can be different depending on niche you need them for. But from my experience, they have to be very "eye catchy" with not too many text or info but yet effective as it could be, to convert as many visitors to subscribers or customer, as possible.

Thank you, I will definitely check out those tips. I always spend a lot of time searching around before I purchase anything because I am always rather hesitant to try someone new!

We all know that designing a great website is important and one great way to attract leads and get referrals and sales is to have a great landing page. Simply put a landing page is a single page which has a specific purpose: that of getting visitors to click through to what you want them to get to. So your landing page needs to be simple and clear, but effective to encourage that call to action. It is not difficult to create a free landing yourself. I have heard that Wix is great, as is Wishpond's landing page builder and Lander app. Maybe you could check them out.

I tried Wix but I couldn't figure it out. I get so frustrated with design things and it takes up so much time. Just figuring out how to use Canva took me weeks of practice... yes I know we all have our skills and our areas of being awful. Design is my awful side.

These days there are many page creators such as beever builder, divi theme builder, avada, thrive theme builder. And the list just keeps on expanding. As you can see there is plenty of choices to choose from. So it all comes down to what you choose for making the landing page. Some even use the bootstrap and foundation for making the landing page. And it works out for them. I think it's not bad to make use of such page builders.

Landing page is really necessary for an online business because it where you attract your potential customers. Well designed landing pages increases opt ins. There are free Landing Page builder that you can use. But of course it has limitations with it comes to designing. If you are really serious in building your career online, you have to acquire necessary tools that will make your website look professional and compelling. Which means you have to invest for your website. And the good thing is there are plugins that you can purchase that doesn't cost you much and is easy to use. Thrive theme and divi theme are great plugins for designing your landing page.

From what I gathered about the landing page, it is the web page in your website that you promoted. For example if you are a blogger, you will promote the blog that you uploaded today by posting the backlink of that web page to another site or social media network. When a reader clicks on the backlink, he is directed to the particular web page which is your latest blog since it is the landing page. And if that web page is optimized with the design, keywords, and contents, then you have nothing to worry about your landing page.
