    Which is better, to sell be a host reseller or to be an affiliate of an establish hosting company?

    If you have a blog, you would be better off sticking with the affiliate program as you can easily post reviews of various host companies and link to their site (with your affiliate link). You can still earn a substantial sum of money without having to invest any money up front.

    Affiliate route is easy as you don't have to go into any technical stuffs, you just need an affiliate url to promote.

    If you are good in getting people to buy some service, affiliate might be better. You can earn even $50 per one custommer order. Which is much better than creating own website and sales pages which usually are less effective than big companies who offer you affilaite comissions.

    If you have huge network, then affiliate accounts are the best way to earn and get cheap deals. Otherwise go for reseller accounts Reseller vs Affiliates

    affiliate system is the best way.


    I beg to differ. I mean, there is no logical explanation for me to choose affiliate over reseller. So, how do you think a newbie can decide?

    I think affiliate is better if you don't have infrastructure. And the reseller is good if you have knowledge, money and infrastructure. In such case what you do with whatever that you have is lot different. You can see that reseller often does not work out that easily. And we have to be really understanding of how we are converting that. Mostly affiliate offer takes time for conversion.
