Sure, after the panda update Google looks for nofollow links as well as dofollow, it a sign of natural link building and from my point of view nofollow backlinks are more then welcomed for any website!

I do blog commenting forbacklink. However, the backlinks generated from blog comments are nofollow. When I check the backlinks through a backlink checker, my no follow links do not show up. Are you sure no follow links are as important as do follow.can you point me to some resources when I can learn more on this topic?

And, recently I noticed that OpenSiteExplorer was able to detect all no follow links from various no follow sites/forums. I'm guessing Google can detect these no follow links too and gives credit for them though the links do not pass page rank.

I have never used Moz, or OpenSiteExplorerfor that matter. I use SEO Review Tool to check backlinks on my website. However, the tool does not show no follow backlinks. If the OpenSiteExplorercan track no follow links, I will have to use this service to see my backlinks.

we can say that Do-Follow Links are good for Human Traffic and SEO Traffic.

And on the other side, No-Follow Links are only good for Human Traffic which is still the best traffic you can have.

For link building you must mix nofollow and dofollow to make natural.

Nofollow backlinks are still valuable through SE, moreover if you mix them with dofollow backlinks, they will look like natural.

Yeah, but JesterMagic is considering changing most of the site's outgoing links to nofollow.

And yeah, it's smart to use nofollow some of the time, like for what it was originally proposed for: links in user-generated content that the site owner could not vouch for. Why should JeterMagic nofollow links that are editorially chosen?

I thought that a no-follow backlink has no effect on search engines because it blocks the crawlers from seeing the backlinks that are posted there? It is only the do-follow backlinks that are seen by search engines hence they have an influence on the ranking in search engines. But maybe there is a change in policy again or someone is inventing some talks that no-follow is good.
