What works best on Youtube, long or short videos? I don't want to bore people by having long videos. But, if the videos are not long enough, I won't be able to say what I need to say. What length should my videos be on Youtube?
just make it short and straight to the point. remember that there are other similar videos as well yours

short videos works best
Yes cheatseo is exactly right.
People get really bored fast with long videos, so keep them very short and to the point.
If your video is a lecture, it's expected that could be more than thirty minutes or even an hour, as some real world lectures run that long.
However, for an instructional video, stay under five minutes.
For a funny clip, you can go with thirty seconds to a minute.
Game play videos can run up to 15 minutes if they are entertaining to watch, such as with constant action and activity and an interest commentator.
Are you creating a tutorial or how to for a specific subject? If so, then your video will need to be longer, at least five minutes to contain all the instructions on how to complete the task. If you are just giving a tip then keep it to thirty seconds or less.
Short video maybe ? thats my opinion
We have long videos on your YouTube channels that runs for 3 to 5 minutes because they are the mtv type that features original compositions. But some of our videos are like movies or documentary type which runs for 1 minute or less. The shorter videos normally get more views than the longer videos. Maybe because most of video watchers have short attention span. They want to see more videos in just one sitting so they cut short the viewing when the video runs out of interesting things to show.
