If my channel gets banned, will my account be banned too?

If youtube decides to ban my channel, would they also ban my account? I want to know if there is some appeals process for that just in case it ever happens.

Most times, a video is reported for violation and that results in account ban, rather than simply banning or deletion of the Youtube channel. Then you would lose access to any channels you had associated with that account.

Youtube would have the option to ban just the channel or account associated with that channel. Hopefully, they would only ban one channel and not the entire account as you could lose a lot.
