This Google bot optimization is a new term to me and I am surprised that it is not really a part of SEO methods but just the Google crawlers. Perhaps the real meaning of Google bot optimization is allowing the crawlers to enter and inspect your site so that it can be used somehow for the search results. I have read a discussion about blocking crawlers and that will also block the Google crawlers which can harm your site.
