    You should not abuse your keywords by stuffing them onto your page or in meta tags or alt descriptions. Instead, provide a relevant, simply description of your site's purpose in the page title and reiterate these points in your page description by including more details.

    When you are optimizing content for search engines, the best practice is 5 percent keyword usages. In other words, for every 100 words you write, you can use 5 keywords. Therefore, a 1000-word article should have 50 keywords. When you use more than 5 percent keywords, it is considered keyword stuffing. Keyword stuffing is a bad SEO practice. You should always use proper keywords, the keywords which are relevant to your topic. Your title and content description should also contain keywords. When ever possible, use long tail search term as the title of your content.

    I have come across discussions where some comments say a percentage of the content like 5% or 10% which means for 500 words of content you can included 25 times the appearance of the keyword. Isn’t that too much like spamming? I am just thinking about keyword stuffing because an article that I like to read is one without the monotony of a word. Well, maybe 5 appearances of the keyword in the article is just fine whether the article is 100 words or 1,000 word long.
