    How long did it take your site to recover from Google Panda or Penguin?

    Was your site penalized by either of these Google search engine algorithm updates? And, if so, how long did it take your site to recover search engine ranking?

    From what I see, it was not affected. I tried my best to give unique content as much as possible.

    When you own the site or blog, it's easier to control the content. With these big article farms like ehow, there was a massive amount of content and you could only control the quality of your own articles not what others wrote or what the site published. That's why it's so much better to rely on your own site.

    I am interested in this discussion because I have yet to read a testimony of the sanction by Google Panda or Penguin. To be frank with the issue I don’t believe about the sanctions that is why I am on the lookout for an experience of a site that was banned or sanctioned by Google. But it’s sad because there was no one posting about that experience that I am looking for which means until now I consider the Google updates just mere stories.
