    What is Google's thinking about links from article marketing, widgets, etc

    Check out this video where Matt Cutts discusses the value of 'editorial links' (such as links freely given by a site owner who is endorsing your site) versus low quality, boilerplate text backlinks (such as those backlinks which are included in widgets; blogger templates; site tools, article directory submissions, etc).

    There was a time when getting backlinks in this way was very popular. Now, it's a long shot that these links are actually counted in your favor. At worst, your site could be penalized if the backlink is coming from a trashy site. Just best to backlink properly from high quality sites, rather than going for these 'easy' backlinks.

    If you receive backlink from highly valued social sites which has good PA and DA will surely help you in search engine rankings . Google does count backlink from high quality sites.

    You should create landing page to get more traffic and more conversion.
