How can I have something removed from Google search?

I just found some of my articles on another website. These articles had been earning very well for me on my own blog but lately I'd noticed how the pages were not receiving traffic anymore Checking my web position for certain keywords that I had been ranking for with the articles, I found my articles had been copied to another site. What can be done?

Why don't you just email the site owner and ask that your article be taken down. So long as you can prove that article is yours, then they will have no choice but to remove it.

You can file a DMCA 'takedown' on the site. Their host will be notified that the site is likely hosting copyright content. The penalties for that could be the site is taken offline.

Go here and enter the url of the site where you found your content. They will tell you who hosts the site. Once you have found the host of that website, go to their contact page and file a report about the copyright infringement. A host is more likely to take down an entire website for that reason. Be sure to include all relevant details, including proof that you are creator of the content as well as where you originally published.

Notify Google that someone has stolen your content. You can report the website easily. They will investigate the issue and take the offending web pages out of search if found to be hosting content illegally, such as without your permission.

As for ranking your pages again, you will need to get stronger backlinks to those pages Chances are, the other site is ranking higher as they are considered the 'authority' by Google.

If someone republished your content on a site such as Yahoo answers, then you should report that post to the site administrators so they can remove it.

Simply report the article to the site owner and demand that it be taken down. Show proof that you are the author of the content and tell them you will sue if the content is not removed immediately That will usually get some action.

Report the page and tell them how it's violating your privacy. Google will take this matter very seriously but only if you tell them why the page should not be allowed to stay online.
