Google vs Bing Webmaster Guidelines: Which is better?

Have you compared Google Webmaster Guidelines to Bing Webmaster Guidelines?

One of the things that I noticed about Bing is how they fully explain the reasons behind their Guidelines where as Google just states what you should or should not do.

Here's an example on why buying links is a bad thing. Google Webmaster simply says don't do it, but Bing Webmaster Help says, "here's why you shouldn't do it." And, knowing why you shouldn't do something in SEO is very valuable.

For me, Google Webmaster Guidelines are much more thorough but Bing provides a unique perspective on search engine optimization that shouldn't be ignored.

The point is to read as much as many Webmaster help pages from all search engines so you can get a more rounded point of view on search engine optimization.

I like things that are explained so in that case I would have to say that Bing would be better there.

You can learn something good from either site as both are authoritative. Though Bing goes about explaining things better than Google, which just mandates what you should do. Much the same way a parent might say, 'Do this!' but not explain why. Bing is the good friend who will tell you why you should or should not do something.

I see, Google is very careful to legal terms and it has made all the thing very clear so that no one can bind legally...

I'm positioning for a long time, but I have never read this document. Maybe it's because I always try to links to my pages look as natural as it possible? So cool that I came across this thread, man always finds something interesting Google vs Bing Webmaster Guidelines: Which is better?

That's right, google is much more entrenched than bing, but as angie828 said google is leader in search engine market so it need to be adequately protected.
