How can I remove personal information from a site?

What if I find my own personal information (such as name/address/phone number, etc) published on a third party site. And, let's say that page is already indexed and available in Google Search. Could I have that information taken out of Google search?

It depends on the website admin if they like to remove your information on your request.

You have to get the information removed by the site owner first then you can have him request Google to remove the index.

Sometimes personal info is scraped from a website and then republished on another and if you simply contact the site owner and let them know you don't wish your info to be on their site, then they will take it down. If not, alert Google to the page and explain the situation.

You could try to take down the site with a DMCA request from Google but mostly that applies to copyright material.
