    Bounce rate

    Please do tell me if it is possible to have a bounce rate of 0? I say no but my friend argues yes. Who is right?

    0% bounce rate is not possible in real world! If you and and your friends live in some ideal (virtual) world then yes, it is possible Bounce rate

    Of course you can have 0% bounce rate..

    Bounce rate means that user makes more than 1 action on your website. So.. when every people that comes to your sites goes to at least one page.. you will have 0% bounce rate.

    No, Mike. Visitor has a session timeout which is 30 minutes. So, if the visitor stay idle to one page and pass 30 minutes long, its counted as a bounce.

    So, there is no 0% bounce rate

    Great point that you have made here. Many do not realize this.

    I do not see how you could have a bounce rate of 0. There will always be someone leaving the site right away for some reason or another. Does not matter if they love your site or not, things happen.

    Pardon me for asking this question – what is the relevance of a bounce rate of zero to us? If it is possible or not, will it matter much to our website? I wonder why the bounce rate is getting to be a big issue nowadays when the cause is the quick exit of the reader. Simply said, make the contents of the web pages interesting so the bounce rate will be lower than the usual number.
