Good is around 3-5%, but most people are lucky even with 1%.

A good CTR is certainly above the 0.05% rate that AdWords asks you to maintain in order to keep your ad running for each keyword. If your CTR gets lower than that, your ad is disabled after it receives a thousand impressions. Certainly, 0.05% is not enough. But itâ??s hard to tell what is good and what is bad CTR beyond that.

I have been seeing CTR and it’s only now that I have understood the meaning which is click through rate. Maybe this is the topic for advertisers because the clicking rate means the number of readers that click on the advertisement. Given 100 readers and 1 clicked on an ad by Adsense that will mean 1% CTR Am I right on my assumption? I hope so. Anyway, I think that 1% is good enough because clicking an ad is not important for ordinary internet users.
