What would you do if your PR went down?

What if you waited a long time for page rank update and turns out your page rank has actually gone down. Has this ever happened? What did you do to remedy the situation to regain page rank?

I'd get back to publishing high quality blog articles and go on with life. Page rank is not the be all and end all of it all for online marketing. And, many sites with low page rank do just as well financially as some of the more 'reputable' high page rank sites. Just depends on how you sell ads and monetize your space online.

It could happen any time it is depend one many thing. Specially on quality SEO. It is competition place and one can exceed another one any time. So it is non stopable and should continue try to get PR with quality SEO + quality site content which really help to people. Google love public helpful content

If your PR wend down, it means there are some major changes in your site, it may be that traffic is reduced or some strong backlinks were removed, so you have to find out what the problem was exactly.

I agree with Beverly that I would continue to work on it. I would strive to get my PR back up, and do anything and everything that I could to make it happen.

Yes, mainly you build relevant and high pr links you would be able to get high page rank, not only this, traffic also plays very important role in page rank update...
