Does anyone use Bing anymore?

Google is so popular now with it's search engine. Does anyone really use Bing anymore? And, if not, then why do they continue?

A lot of people use it, literally millions.

Bing is the default search engine of IE. IE comes pre-installed on Windows.

In addition Yahoo is powered by Bing. A lot of the older generation still use Yahoo as their homepage (like they are stuck in 1998).

Well. Bing will come back as equal as Google in approximate 10 yeras. For now maybe Bing is not the first chooice. But i know that Bing was made huge steps in last year to develop webmaster tools and cleary the serch result so in my opinion the top race on SERP is deffinettly not over. Its just begin.

My first internet ready computer was a Windows '98 (from that same year), but I first got online in 2004 and used Yahoo search a lot then and only occasionally MSN (Bing). At the time, I didn't like Google. This past five years though, I've been a loyal Google search user and now Google Search is all I ever want to use.

I know that many love bing. It is rather successful. It is not for everyone that is for sure but there are many that are happy with it and like it more than yahoo or google for that matter.

If Bing were not at least somewhat profitable, wouldn't they just shut it down? Microsoft is not a stupid company and they have many shareholders to pay.

Yes more than likely they would. I know that I am with Angie when I say that some really do like it.

From time to time I do use it. not often but once in a while. I think that it is an okay search engine. Not the greatest but by far not the worst either.

Once in a while, I use other search engines aside from Google not really for sentimental value but for checking if the search results will be relevant to what I need. As I had posted in another discussion, I shifted to Google because the search list of Google is the most relevant to my search needs. And lately, I had read in this forum about Bing Rewards. It looked good so I attempted to create an account to avail of the rewards. Unfortunately, the rewards system of Bing is only for US residents.
