How do I know if I'm clicking on an ad?

Sometimes, when I visit Google search, there are ads on the search results. However, it's getting harder to tell which ones are the ads and which are the results. Supposedly, they put the ad results in a different color box, but on my browser, the colors are faded, so often it's hard to see what is an ad and what is a result.

In their TOS, Google claims they want webmasters to be obvious about ad placement and to not make the ads look like site links. However, Google does not often hold themselves to the same standard. After all, Google only gets to keep the money if someone clicks on an ad in one of those Adsense boxes. The money is deducted from the advertisers account.
