It's well known that repeat visitors often become accustomed to the Adsense ads and simply block them out and move on, without bothering to click. For repeat visitors, how can you get them to notice the ads?

Occasionally, you could change placement of certain Adsense blocks or change the colors from complementary to contrasting so they don't always blend in perfectly with your site. This could be a good way to catch someone's attention, especially if they've become immune to your ads.

Change the size of the ad blocks, maybe stacking two larger ad blocks side by side in a conspicuous place they were not before.

What works for me is using image ads only. That's what mostly every site is doing now. Text ads still draw revenue but image ads draw a lot better. You also get better advertisers overall through image ads. Repeat visitors will notice your ads if you don't have the same ones running over and over again. Image ads provide the diversity necessary to ensure every time someone visits your site, you'll get a fresh set of advertising.

Here asre some of the ways to maximize adsense:
The ads should be placed on the right spot which in inside the content.
Ads should be blended with your content, in other words, your ads should match with the contents.
Do not use too many ad units.
