    How to get your first sale

    Hey there i am new to the site, and was wondering how long it would typically get to get your first sale. I tried some of the other gig sites and haven't had much luck selling unfortunately.

    What type of gigs are you listing? Forum posting gigs work well for me. Though I don't always post under this username, at the request of the forum owner.

    I think you need to have a good sales page. And of course, being cheap is one of the ways for you to get buyers.

    Another thing is to build good reviews. Start with a moderately priced service (not cheap) and then build some good reviews and reputation. That will translate into repeat work. Ask each person who orders a package to please order again. Respond back to any reviews left for you, thanking the person for their order and ask them to order again soon. As you build reputation on the site, raise your prices according to the work you put into the job. Also, don't try to compete with everyone on the site for jobs. Just stick to what you know how to do best.
