Would you buy a service from a Level 1 SEOClerks seller?

There are so many Level 3 and Level X sellers on SEOClerks now, offering a variety of services. Would you even try out a Level 1 SEOClerks seller?

If that person could produce proof of other work created, such as links to blog posts, etc to showcase writing quality, then I might consider hiring them. However, I would most likely hire someone with a Level X designation.

I'm a very liberal person that I can work with anybody both starters and professionals. All I have to see is your work if it good then I will hire the person. Some people might have worked independently before joining SEOclerks so joining SEOclerks as a seller1 badger doesn't mean they can't deliver,it only that they joined a bit late.

I have a feeling that FB fans and Twitter followers are sold by most sellers here and that's why you can't stand out from other sellers. Offer something unique, that's my suggestion. Would you buy a service from a Level 1 SEOClerks seller?

Someone has to buy from them. I would say give everyone a shot and if you don't like them, do not return to them.

If I read really good positive reviews from even a few customers about this seller, then I would not be worried about buying a service.

Greetings to all!!

I just started on SEOClerks and because I'm just starting, I am a Level 1 seller of 6 different listings.
Honestly, the way I see it... Everyone has to start from somewhere. This also includes the higher level sellers, as they would have had to conquer the same battle. The only difference being, now most everything is saturated and it seems as though we will have double the amount of work, just to be noticed.

I'm telling you this...
Don't give up!
Keep going forward, and try not to leave all of your eggs in one basket.

This is just the difference ,who came in first and who is coming in last.just like in secondary school even though one is older a person in an upper class, one can still get punished by the younger one in an upper class, Why?because the younger one got in first, not necessarily because he or she is more brilliant but the school recognises more of those that in first into the school, so same is applicable here,so I can patronise anyone.

I don't tend to look at the user level, if I believe the price is good and they have no negative feedback then I will give the seller a try. If they have no feedback, despite the only service which I purchased from somebody without feedback was a bad experience, I will still give the seller a try. The SEOClerks awesome team will sort the problem if you encounter one anyway.

There are sufficient highly qualified sellers here to choose from, most of whom have spent years building a solid Level 3 or Level X reputation. These people will work so hard to keep customers happy. And, really you have no assurance of that with a Level 1 seller. So I can see why it would be difficult for a brand new seller to break in and gain trust of buyers.

Don't discount someone here just because they are Level one. Just because a seller has just started here, that doesn't mean they weren't more highly ranked on another freelance website or even successful at their own freelance site. Get proof of previous work before ordering from a Level one seller and you should be assured of highest quality service.

Couldn't you use a low priced or $1.00 service from an unproven seller to see if they are any good? This would negate much of your risk and make it so that you could benefit from an affordable service. And, if you found someone that provided good service, then you could order a higher priced service.

$1 services are not available to Level One sellers.

I'm sure cheap services are good, but I don't agree with having the price of services below a certain point regardless of the level. We should all be seen as professionals. Our time should be valued. The WTB section is a great example of people who have unrealistic expectations. They want you to work several hours for literally little or nothing.

You wouldn't walk into a business to purchase their services or merchandise, and expect to get what you want for practically nothing. Would you see them scurrying around hurriedly, serving your every need for a buck???

I don't think that should be allowed. We are all equal. Even the Level x's had to start at Level one in the beginning. Individuals (not all) seem to forget where they started. I only buy services from Level One sellers.

Well, I'm Level X5..

Would I buy something from a Level 1 user?
- Sure I would, as long as I get satisfying results.

Do I prefer to buy services from Level X?
-Yeah. You've all mentioned the reason already. It's because level X sellers are proven to work.

Level 1 sellers CAN be a risk and Level X sellers shouldn't be. (I say shouldn't because Life is always Life.) That's why people prefer to hire sellers with higher user level. With that said, I honestly believe it's more awkward being a level 1 seller with 500+ positive ratings than a Level 1 with 1 postive rating.. I'd go with the Level 1 seller who's got 1 postive rating any day instead of the one with 500+..

Being a level 1 seller.. or even 2 at this time when the user levels has been changed, with 500 positive ratings is.. Awkward. Whenever I stumble upon such a seller I run away. It's a warning in my book. I don't know the reason for the seller to be level 1 but the feeling I get isn't good at all.

So, basically. I'd buy from a level 1 seller but I prefer a Level X. If the Level 1 seller has good offers, provides quality/good results and the communication is great, I'd have no problem at all hiring that same seller again.

hitmeasap

I'd be interested to know the circumstance behind something like that, as the level 1 seller with 500 positives started with just 1 at some point. Maybe they just lost their level through something relatively minor.

Look at that huge thread on here about the user who simply didn't get back to one buyer within the 3 day response time while she was on vacation and lost everything and went right back to level 1. Does that make her a "bad" seller worthy of a "risk" status because she has 100's of reviews, but is now showing as level 1?

Last week I received an infraction for supposedly selling warez, which I wasn't and it was removed by support, but that's enough to drop your level when it happens, even if you're a level 5. Does that make me a bad seller?

Also, a level 5+ seller must maintain a 24 hour response time, but accidents happen....life happens. Should that person lose their level because they are recovering from a car accident and can't get to a computer?

Lots of sellers I've seen have 100's of great reviews, but are still level 1 or 2 because of the minor leveling rules that have nothing to do with quality. The great reviews and service offered is what I go by when deciding to purchase...not their level number.

In actual fact, the 2 worst sellers I've dealt with so far on SEOclerks are both level 3+, NOT level 1.

-Personally, I wouldn't bother to find out the actual reason of why they've lost their status. It's a whole other scenario if that specific seller states the reasons within their status or something. Then I'd be okay with them being a level 1. If the reason is legit so to speak.

-No, I can't say I think that person is a bad seller or deserves a "risk" status. However, you as a seller have options. You could mark your services as "sold out" for instance. During the time you're on vacation. Other things you could do, is to set your delivery time higher. Perhaps 14 days instead of 3. You could also update your status and your description and tell your customers that you won't be able to deliver because you're on vacation or whatever the reason might be. Buyers shouldn't have to wait because the seller is on a vacation. Instead of doing nothing at all, you can choose to do something.

Last week I received an infraction for supposedly selling warez, which I wasn't and it was removed by support, but that's enough to drop your level when it happens, even if you're a level 5. Does that make me a bad seller?

-No. Of course you're not a bad seller when you didn't do anything wrong. I've never had that problem myself, but your user level shouldn't be affected if the support removed the infraction..?

Also, a level 5+ seller must maintain a 24 hour response time, but accidents happen....life happens. Should that person lose their level because they are recovering from a car accident and can't get to a computer?

-There's always circumstances and no, I don't think they should loose their level because of an accident. That would be terrible! I'm sure the support would reinstate the user level if such a case appear. As long as they can prove what happened some how.

-I'm truly sorry for the bad experiences you've had with level 3+ sellers. You should never go by user levels alone, I know that too, but I'd expect a user level 3+ to be honest & providing quality results and offer support/guarantees. With that said, a level 1 user is most likely, at least most of the times a new seller. When these people are creating their services they have 0 postive ratings. That's why I prefer to hire someone with a higher user level but I'd go with a user level 1 too, but not as often as a Level X for instance. Any user with 500 positive ratings is great but I'd prefer doing business with a Level X with 100 instead of a Level 1 with 500.. That's just the way it is.

I understand that life happens. I understand that accidents can happen and that people can get hit by a car etc.. I understand that and I'd never say a bad word if their user levels dropped because of such reasons. The thing is, that most people DON'T get hit by cars. Most people who gets infractions and user level drops deserve it, one way or another. (selling warez for instance) Those are the ones I'm talking about. Those are the ones who gives me a bad feeling when I see their 500+ positive ratings and still being a level 1 user. The sad part is, that specific seller I see at that moment, CAN be a seller who got a user level drop because of an accident.. I have to draw my line somewhere and user level 1 with 500+ ratings is that line for me. I think it's odd & I personally stay away from such people. That said, they could be the most affordable and the best delivering dudes I've ever seen.. But I'll probably never find out, in case they don't inform me about what happened as I stated in the beginning of the post.

I'm going to leave it at that because the last time I tried to debate a point about unfair misconceptions against level 1 sellers I got dinged for it by a moderator, and that's a whole other unfair topic for discussion, as the only thing it leaves me to be allowed to say in this forum are useless posts like "Welcome", "Great Post!", "I like cheese", etc. Trying to make everything a "feel good" post completely kills intelligent discussion, which is something I usually enjoy.

I think level x should better. But if you compare with level 1-3 they mostly same as label base. But I can suggest, concentrate on complete profile on specific user, when he join and how his total positive rating or what his response time and last recommendation. If everything has minimum satisfactory, then you can go for it and if possible contact with him by inbox about your service query.
Hope it will help to any buyer.
Thanks

My best suggestion would be to go to webmaster and admin sites (where site owners will be hanging out) and advertise your article writing services, either in their classified services section or in your signature line. I did this on another forum (just added my signature link to my SEOClerks profile) and already it's resulted in more sales on SEOClerks. Best of luck, let me know how it goes.

If I'm not risking a lot of money then I will buy from a Level 1 buyer. But, still that is five dollars for a service, not $1.00, so if the service is bad, then I'm out of five dollars. I would have to think about it more. I would not mind risking $1.00 to try someone out.

Level One sellers are unable to have dollar services. In order for them to progress into levels where they can provide those types of listings, they have to work their way up the pole.

In order for this to happen, Level One sellers have to get the business. Without the business then there's no chance of movement.

Maybe someone has just started actively using SEOClerks as a member and that's why they are level one as it takes a lot of time to work your way up through the requirements to reach Level Two. So you can't think the worst of someone here just because they are Level One. Maybe they are going at a slower pace or taking another route for customers and just using this site as one way to reach people online.

Think of it from the point of view of the Level One seller who has talent and success and a proven record on another site and then comes here and has to start from scratch with everyone thinking they are sub par just because of their level. If you were in the same position, wouldn't you want a chance to level up and do work to prove yourself? You can't judge someone by their current level unless they have proven untrustworthy.

I have given a couple Level 1's a shot, and some turned out some good work - while others were a flop! I'd say if it's a unique service that I can't really find other more qualified sellers offering, then I might give a newbie a shot if I really think they can do a good job. Also, new sellers need to realize that they may have to give more away initially i.e. offer better deals than more established sellers initially if they want to win sales and build their rank.

Everybody start on this site from level 1.

Level 1 have to struggle alot just like i did, (and still doing), so you must provide instant message reply even he/she send you a message totally unrelated/spam to you, its effect on your response time.

In my personal experience, you must provide lot of proof before starting any gig, people won't trust you until you give them some video and image proof, in my cause i won't trust only "Screenshots" i need live demonstration or video to buy it.

What I see before hire/buy a level 1.

1. What is response time (if any)
2. How much time its take to reply me if he/she online (i recommend not more then 15 min for level 1 because they don't have lot of messages)
3. How much professionally written gigs.
4. did this same gig available on other "Micro job" sites (most likely copycat)?
5. Did seller sale same gigs related to his/her niche? if he/she selling multiple gigs at different topic i won't buy, because seller don't know his own path, If you are developer Always sale developer related content. if you are SEO Expert sale only SEO related content.
6. Is rating 100% its good if its lower i won't buy.

Thanks,

Hi there,
The "risk" I'm referring to in this case, is the fraud/scam one. I don't mean that all level 1 sellers are fraudsters or anything, so don't get me wrong. What I mean by stating the above is just that level 1 sellers doesn't have a "record" yet, which COULD mean, that you're taking a "risk" as a buyer, compared to if you hire a Level X seller instead. Sure, Level X sellers COULD sell garbage and "steal" your money too, but it's a low risk compared to a new seller since Level X isn't that easy to achieve.

I agree with you level 1 sellers might be the fraud/scam if SEOClerks doesn't have the feature to reject orders. Would you buy a service from a Level 1 SEOClerks seller? Ohh long discussion, I think I also at that stage some times and just reached the level 2.

There are 2 important things, If I were a buyer I would prefer good service and hope the level 3 people would do it. But I have different experience too. Some of the level 3 sellers do there delivery after 5-6 days. While new ones would do it soon.

Ohh long discussion, I think I also at that stage some times and just reached the level 2.

I am also on level 3 and i probably deliver my product instantly or in 24 hours, its depend on my gig type, about level 3 seller late deliver there is multiple reason are going around,

  1. Lot of order, seller has to deliver every single order one by one and its take time.
  2. Seller need to double check the content before final delivery to get best rating and feedback.
  3. Support and Delivery at the same time, sometime we have to reply in message while working on order and its slow down the process.

I have work on seocleark since last 1 year, I have bought multiple gigs from level 1 to level x and mostly are arrived in 2-3 days, i think is a reasonable time for order delivery time.

Thanks,

Yes why not if level 1 seller offer same service as level 3 seller if it is cheap and same effective as it is for level 3 or X for sure i willl buy frmo that level 1 buyer as all matter to buyer is quality and money ..
So for less money if i get same quality i will go with it for sure..

How will you know the Level 1 seller is effective? Will you read their reviews? Will you look at samples of work? You can't just guess these things. I would want proof. For me, those positive reviews are the best proof, not just taking someone's word on how good they will be at the job I am hiring them for.

If the Level 1 seller has good offers, provides quality/good results and the communication is great, I'd have no problem at all hiring that same seller again.

hitmeasap

I am a level one seller. great services, but no order

I am purely a buyer. I do not sell any services. I have bought 4 gigs from two people, one from a level 3 seller and the other 3 gigs from a level 1 seller. As a buyer, levels mean nothing to me. I look at the service itself and whether the gig has recent good feedback. That's what I like to see, not "levelx."

Buying a service from someone with a guarantee is always a good idea if they have good feedback too from others who enjoyed the service.

Some low level users have really good offers. I'm a pure seller but sometimes I do buy stuff from SEOclerks, specific stuff that I usually use the search for. Believe it or not I turn away from level X sellers and try to find better offers from authentic genuine sellers, that are not X.
Don't get me wrong, I don't hate X level sellers or think less of them, I'm level X, but overall they usually don't have the "hunger" anymore.
And I want sellers that are still passionate and ecstatic about making money online.

Why not? Every one starts at level one and slowly grows up new levels. If no one wants to buy from level one's then ...think !!
If you think that person can deliver then must try. In some cases these guys give deliver more than ordered. So it's not a problem at all!! Would you buy a service from a Level 1 SEOClerks seller?

Yes sometimes I also use the services of level 1 sellers because they were cheaper and of course there should be a positive review.

Many Level X sellers are not offering service which level 1 seller does so I think We should give a shot because we all came from level 1 . And as far as I have seen level 1 seller do work more carefully as they are keen to get sales and positive to go up in levels .

Every one begins for level 1. If no one buys from the seller he will never reach level 2. In order to reach level 2 the seller has to make at least 10 sales. Therefore, the buyers should give a chance to level 1 seller. I have a created a service "install wordpress and customize wordpress site for $10." I made my first sell because I offered the service for a small amount that would normally cost around $50. The buyer was satisfied with me and he bought the service again, this time I charged $20 for the same service. Once I gain more positive reviews, I might increase the price.
