Has SEOClerks been hit by google?

I was browsing the forums and saw this post claiming SEOClerks has been removed from Google. I didn't really believe it but I checked anyways.

And for me, at least, I am not seeing SEOClerks in the google search results for any obvious keywords such as the following:

SEOclerks
SEOclerks forum
SEOclerks marketplace

etc;

So has SEOClerks been hit by google? Like rapgenius did recently?

SEOClerks has been removed. (?)

When I search for "SEOClerks.com" the last result on the first page is the helpdesk. All the other results are from youtube, the facebook page and various forums and blogs. Sorry for a stupid question perhaps, but why do google penalize SEOClerks but not Fiverr for instance? What's the reason for this?

Regards,
hitmeasap

Google has become a dictator more or less. They are looking for all the big time players who they don't like and ban them.

I read a lot these days about their Gmail spying and so on. They can afford just about anything you can imagine. Maybe they will eventually deindex all the websites that have anything to do with SEO. Except Matt's loverboys @ Moz of course.

Hey guys,

Yeah, we were hit with an unnatural link manual action caused by unnatural inbound links from affiliate stores and links. We are cleaning it up and the problem should be resolved in the next week or two.

Seoclerks hardly hit by Google....Its really unbelievable but the truth is we are in trouble need to take some steps to survive from this....Is too much affiliate links around the internet made us suffer?? Or the content of our site not unique??

I could push an update to my affiliate store script that redirects users to the seoclerks order url (eg; affiliatestore.com/go/105 ) if you think it would help @EricElliott ?

Doing that would stop backlinks from affiliate stores but still makes the affiliate stores run, I think that would be a great idea if affiliate store backinks are a part of the problem.

Thanks, we have already redirected all of the affiliate links and that shouldn't be an issue anymore and won't affect any of the stores. I don't think it's gonna be a big deal. Im sure they will remove it.

Has this been fixed yet? Will we get notification once it is fixed?

Jerlene
Notification? Just go to Google.com and search for SEO Clerks. If results pointing to a URL starting with "seoclerks.com" pops up then problem solved! If not, the problem is unresolved.

Do you think our affiliate stores will start to be removed or at least drop in ranking? Due to they are full of links to SEO Clerks? Has SEOClerks been hit by google?

For awhile I was actually seeing affiliate stores ranking high for the term SEOClerks, rather than the main SEOClerks site. I hope this changes soon as we need the SEOClerks site back at the top of Google.
