Recently a user 'tried' to scam me by ordering my services then rejecting, after further inspecting he offers similar services to mine. I suspect his only intention was to give me negative ratings. Thankfully this is the first time something like this has happened in the couple of years I have been here.
I think an option to block certain people from ordering from me if I suspect that they are a scammer would be useful.

Blocking a user would be helpful, if you are not sure about a user or heard bad things about them simply block them and don't let them waste your time. :)

I was thinking more of an "ignore" user and ignoring a user also blocks them from ordering from you (as well as messaging you). Thoughts?

or An option on the User Settings page where a list of members can be kept that will not be able to buy any of your services, this would be a lot simpler than having to add members for each of your services as some people do have a lot of gigs. Either way, I think it is a really good idea!
Yes, an option in the Gig Edit / Settings page would be great where a list of members you don't want to buy from you can be added. :D or An option on the User Settings page where a list of members can be kept that will not be able to buy any of your services, this would be a lot simpler than having to add members for each of your services as some people do have a lot of gigs. :P Either way, I think it is a really good idea! :D

- Block for spamming under service's description
- Block from sending private messages

Everything gig on here is a big rip-off, a lot of scam artist, all selling the same bogus gigs, it's take the money and run

- Sunil Bishnoi Agree with you, recently a user also tried to scam with me, he ordered my service and just after delivery he given me a negative rating because he is selling same services as me, i think he done this to reduce competition :( i want to block such users to avoid more negative ratings.
