    What type of information should go on the 'About Us' page?

    I am designing a website for my local company. I need some help to determine what type of information is required on the About Us page. I will try to get this site ranked for local searches.

    If you are trying to get your site ranked locally on Google Local, you should include a physical/mailing address as well as real telephone number, company email address (not just a Gmail or personal address) as well as company/site owner's name. All this information must be listed in a standard format accepted by Google Local. Including contact info will increase the trust factor with Google.

    i go with topclasseo, an about us page mainly should include everything about the company, the products or services they offer, how to contact them i.e contact details, and other things that par-tails to the company

    Give some background details about your company, including your history such as how you got started or the story behind the company creation. This background story will be good for personalizing your 'About Us' page.

    You could also include any details about the site owner(s) or anyone on the staff. Some visitors might like to read about that.

    For a corporate site, the About Us page should contain the basic information about the company like company name and address plus the blurb of what the company is all about.
