Though Facebook connect can be convenient for some members, there will be others that are leary about connecting social accounts for fear of privacy intrusions.

I don't want my forum activity showing up on my Facebook feed. So long as what I post on a forum isn't showing on Facebook, then I don't mind logging in this way.

For me, it is basically just a Facebook account and nothing more. I don’t use my Facebook login for any other means particularly for forums. Isn’t it like exposing yourself? To be honest, I am keeping my online life secret not only to my colleagues in the office but also to my friends and relatives. No one knows that I am a freelancer and I will keep that secret as much as I can. Case closed.
