    What are your favorite traffic generating methods?

    Now I know we all have our favorite traffic generation methods, but I want to figure out what everyone else's favorites are.

    I love a few for different reasons

    Adwords and Adcenter (aka Bing Ads): These are my top favorites because they are instant traffic and sales since you can get your ad to the top of the search results pretty quick if you know what you're doing. Now this is a double edged sword since it may cost an arm and a leg to get to the top and you may just break even. Breaking even is never fun because even if you pay to be on top and make your money back, you've invested a lot of time in the work and technically you're now behind.

    Third party ad platforms: I like using buysellads since webmasters can build up their websites and once they feel they are getting enough traffic they can apply for BSA to list them and get some ad sales. You can cherry pick what sites you want to be shown on based on the niche and category. You can even search for sites out of you niche, but I wouldn't recommend advertising on them. The only downside of this is that people can most likely falsify their traffic and ask for a higher dollar for an ad spot which is actually worth nothing because you won't get any clicks or sales.

    SEO (Search Engine Optimization): I love doing SEO, it's one of the reasons I've stuck with online marketing for so long. It's not an overnight success type of thing so I always pair my SEO campaigns with a PPC campaign on either adwords or adcenter (bing ads). Doing SEO will pay off in the long rung, I look at it as a kind of branding so I don't get my hopes up like a lot of newer webmaster do. Doing SEO the right way is like getting on adwords or bing ads for free since you'll be on the first page and getting all the traffic.

    Facebook ads: I like facebook ads, I don't exactly love it yet. Why don't I love it? Because I haven't had an extremely successful campaign just yet. I can get my cost per click down to $0.01 if I target third world countries, but that never converts into a sale What are your favorite traffic generating methods? I'm running a campaign right now for the online marketing niche and I've gotten my campaign down to $0.12 per click, so it's successful in my eyes so far even though I haven't made a sale yet (I'm selling a $500+ service).

    Social Media Marketing: I'm not a huge fan of social media marketing because honestly I'm not too experienced with what I should be doing lol What are your favorite traffic generating methods? I know how a lot of it works, but I've been successful in other methods that I haven't had time to dive into SMM.



    What's your favorite method to generate traffic?
    Is it one of the above or do you have one that I didn't talk about?

    My favourite sources of traffic are Search Engine traffic and Facebook ads traffic. Search engine traffic consists of about 80% of my traffic. I would say it is the cheapest type of traffic as once you have invested into the optimization, you will continue to receive traffic even if you stop the investment. Search engine traffic also seems to have the highest conversion rates for me. Facebook ads traffic is also very good. You can get clicks for very cheap, the conversion rate isn’t great but it has been decent for me. BuySellAds is also a good one; I am a publisher there although I haven’t actually tried advertising there.

    Hi Razzy,
    I use social media and forums for generating traffic mainly, but I've also used Facebook ads. I usually go with Forums and Facebook in particular, as these have given me the best results so far. I manage multiple facebook pages and whenever I launch a new product for instance, I make an announcement on all the pages simultaneously. Forums are another extremely good source for traffic and I've had great results using that too. With that being said, I've seen hundreds, perhaps even thousands of people using forums to drive traffic as it's totally free (except the time you put in), but nowadays, and this have been going on for quite some time, people are doing everything they can to drive their traffic so they spam and promote their services/products and websites in each and every thread they can find.. This ultimately leads to a decrease in traffic. At least it has for me. This also usually brings other circumstances too, such as more moderating, approvals of topics etc. Which also affects the flow of traffic.

    i make use of banner advertising that cost very low price. i created some banners and purchase some spaces on sites with high page rank and it is truly working for me as i am getting visitors traffic to my affiliate site atleast i have being able to get some affiliates from it. i also make use of Facebook page too of which i link my site to such page. those two sources of traffic generation are my 2 major sources , apart from others that are not doing much for me but am still working on them right now.

    Apart from SEO, I feel that the best way to generate more traffic is by social media marketing. Considering that a high percentage of people log into their Facebook, Twitter or other social media account daily, and sometimes even more than once daily, this is a huge opportunity for businesses who want to get more traffic. If you see that your Facebook page is doing quite well you could invest in Facebook ads so as to get even better results. They are quite cheap and enable you to target exactly who you want in terms of age and location especially.

    Hi Razzy your all sources are very useful for any website and I prefer to get traffic by search engine. And I mostly work for SEO for getting traffic and MasterA said if you stop the investment you will continue to get traffic. So, this is most cheap and profitable traffic source for me. And another I prefer social media promotion traffic and facebook among all of them my first choose and forum is another great way to get traffic to your website. Beside Facebook ad is good source of way to get traffic. And Buy sell ad also good source.

    SEO is my all time favorite and of course most trusted traffic generation method. A website or contents properly optimized for search engines will bring organic traffic, After SEO, social media sharing is my another way to pull traffic. Blog commenting and forum posting also helps, but these activities are too demanding.

    I make use of the blog traffic and the social media most of the time. Both of them are free. These days also noticed the traffic from the steem working for me. Though most of the people are into broadcasting. And they need to comment too. So based on that it'd be reasonable to see how that can works out as well. I am guessing that it'd be reasonable to see the steem, forums,and the blog working for the traffic. I don't have much expectations from the other sources. I don't have much money so not making use of the PPC Ads as of now.

    I use social media platform because I don't think other ways can outdo this means. Social platform like Facebook, instagram, YouTube etc are really good means of promoting one's blog and business and getting the desired result.

    For me, social media marketing is fun because you get to stretch your creativity to the maximum. It is a big challenge to think of a promotional spiel from time to time. Since your audience are the same, you cannot post repeatedly that one spiel. You have to post a new one tomorrow otherwise your followers will think that you have run out of ideas. I said it’s fun because you are like playing a game with your audience.
