I use Litespeed on my VPS and I like it a lot. It is fast! I do not get a lot of traffic and every once in a while Litespeed will stop working. I can't restart it either from the LSWS admin or via shell. There is always a core being dumped and by killing the core dump process I am able to restart successfully.
I am using the latest version of LSWS with a PHP based web app. Does anyone know of a fix?

If it doesn't immediately show you what is causing the issue, you should be able to send that to Litespeed support since it is a paid product/service. Have you actually analyzed the core dump? That should give you more information about the crash and what caused it. Here is a good article on Stack Overflow on how to analyze cores: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8305866/how-to-analyze-a-programs-core-dump-file-with-gdb If it doesn't immediately show you what is causing the issue, you should be able to send that to Litespeed support since it is a paid product/service.
