    How overhyped is the concept of SEO?

    I think it's really that important. Just look at Google alone. 2 billion searches a day. Hundreds of millions of users. Clearly one of the most visited websites in the world. And unlike many available forms of traffic generation, organic non-paid search can return real results with an investment measured in time as opposed to dollars. Has SEO changed a lot in the last ten years? Absolutely. Is it any less relevant? I hardly think so

    SEO is all about the people using the search engines. No matter how the search engines change their algorithm, it is the users that dictate the traffic which means if there are many searchers then there are many chances that a website can get traffic from the search engine list. That’s why the hype on SEO is understandable because employing SEO methods can give your website a good ranking with the search engines. When your website lands on a high position in the search results, it tends to get give you traffic.
