Just look for a seller in the marketplace, but I find them pointless myself

People get the forum strategy backwards all the time. You shouldn't look at forums as being part of your SEO strategy, but as an actual traffic resource.

Think of it this way: Why do you do SEO at all? Answer: to get highly targeted organic traffic looking for what your website offers. Now look at niche forums....they ALREADY contain the exact visitors you are trying to achieve via SEO in the first place!!!

If you sell pet supplies and you post (NOT SPAM) useful content on a pet forum then those pet owners will visit your site and buy your products, as your content already matches your audience! No SEO required!!!

Forget spamming profile links on forums just to attract the SAME niche visitors you would get by doing it the correct way in the first place. Anything else (backlink blasts, profile spam, PBN, etc) is just a waste of time and money.

Forum profile links can still work as part of a Tier 2 layer (supporting a PBN or your main links), but they're weak as standalone direct links to a money site — most forum profile pages carry very little authority on their own and search engines have gotten good at discounting them.
If you're going to use them, mix them with genuinely relevant, active forums rather than mass-created profiles on random forum software installs — relevance matters more than raw quantity here too.
