I have read countless of times the quality backlinks that you can get from posting in Gov and Edu sites. But until now I still have to read a post or comment that he had successfully posted on those site. Pardon me if I am wrong in the understanding of this topic. Linking to your sites is more for the blog or forum where the visitor will leave his footprint in the form of a signature. Other than this, I don’t see any other way of placing the link on the website. The posting of the website’s link of the visitor is usually a result of a comment on a blog or a registration in the forum.
