Facebook page like button inside promoted posts?

Hello, I need some help with Facebook ads and gaining likes on my facebook page.
I've noticed a strange thing in my Facebook campaigns for the last couple of months. I used to promote posts that would also contain a "Like Page" button like in the picture below.

Facebook page like button inside promoted posts?

As you can see, you have your standard Facebook sponsored post that contains some link to some post blog or picture, or whatever. But also in the right corner, I used to have a "Like page" button. So these kinds of ads campaigns used to bring me TONS of facebook page likes in the past. But for a couple of months now, I'm not able to recreate this kind of campaigns and I'm forced to create only standard Facebook page likes campaigns which aren't as effective.

Anyone with Facebook ads experience here to help me? I would be forever grateful if I can create again this type of campaign. I've searched around but can't seem to find an official Facebook answer on this matter. I want to know for sure if this is still possible or not. Should I contact Facebook support on this matter, would they help?

Thank you.

There are two types of ads in facebook first is Facebook Ads via Ads Manager and the second is Facebook Boost which boosts your posts. The like button can be seen on the Facebook Ads and not in the Boost.

I did not know that the Boost Ads were different from other ads. I tried to take advantage of a Facebook coupon. I was given $5 towards an ad but when I tried to redeem it my PayPal got charged. I cancelled the ad and have not bothered with ads on Facebook since.

I think that in the last two years Facebook has drastically changed. This is because of all the scandals that they have been through. I'm no Facebook expert but I think that their policies have been updated. Read their policies carefully and if you need any help I advise you reach out to their customer service team. I've also seen quite a few post by people complaining about Facebook not allowing them to do certain things.

On the other hand, Facebook offers far superior targeting options if you use their self-serve ad tool to set up your ad campaigns rather than depending on the limited options available through your Boost button

Facebook updates aren't static,I think the experiment alot with features to give all those festures enhanced looks. The best way is contacting support to let them know how helpful the like button on your ads was and for them to restore it. I believe this will just be the appropriate thing to do.

It's the way of Facebook sustaining itself, can't say it really bothers me, but it's quite annoying how they're trying to push certain news into you. But hey, Facebook is a free system, and they gotta make a living...

I'm no adverstisement or campaign expert. I've seen ad looking like the one you've posted but I'm not seeing that anymore as well. Quite a lot of updates has been happening might be the reason for you not able to find it. Facebook algorithm are continuously changing in order to improve features. To get the latest update and information I think you have to reach out to Facebook for clarification.

I think this is something that comes with FB change. I don't see any ads with that like button these days. For me it just shows the ad and that's it. You know how fast FB devs change things up. It's probably one of the things that they stopped doing.

Facebook is constantly updating its policies, you should try reading their latest policy and if nothing of the sort is mentioned there, I would advice you reach out to their customer support.

Well, you can pay for your page to be promoted and thus gain more likes and visits, which would eventually lead to your company growing. Standard promotion is fine but frankly, the paid one is better Facebook page like button inside promoted posts?

Yes, I've noticed that. Whenever I find an interesting Facebook page through an ad I want to like the page, but when clicking on the ad it would take me to external pages, which is something I don't want. What I want is to instantly like the page so it appears on my newsfeed, but the option doesn't seem to be around anymore.

Are you sure that you are still subscribed to the original scheme that gave you the button for liking the page? But if the standard of Facebook Ads had changed and had removed that button for liking the page then I guess you have to live with it. I have to agree that the like button is great for clicking but it is better if the reader would click on the page itself and that will give them an insight of what the page is all about.
