How often do you make use of the social media?

This was a challenge when I was starting my freelancing career as I struggled to fix it between understanding what my work entails and how often I should be on social media.

Back then, I used to spend more than 8 hours daily on social media platforms such as Facebook chatting with friends as well as commenting on posts. However, the hours I spend on has reduced.

I now spend less time on social media because of my work. How often do you visit social media sites?

Well considering that I have a mobile device like most people, I use it often. To promote my brand, the site and stuff. I think any good business owner has to use it as often as possible. To promote.

It's very advantageous to business owners because some don't need tarpaulins for their business to be known especially that most people are using social media.

Me too. Basically, my social media interaction is to keep in touch with my loved ones. Eventually, I use it to get info on daily news and events, but in my regular basics, I just use them for personal purposes. When it comes to business, I have different social media accounts, and they're handled by schedule.

Well, I also used to spend a lot of my time on Social Media when I was in college. However, I still do spend some time everyday on Social Media basically to remain in touch with my friends and family. I tend to use Whatsapp more than Facebook or Twitter these days. With your online and offline work, it is sometimes difficult to spare time to remain active on Social Media.

Most students that I know are not really addicted to social media but they are often into it because they say that it is their diversion to relax their mind from the hectic studies of the lesson. When a student would spend most of his time in social media then that is tantamount to neglecting his duties because it is also needed to spend more time in the studies than in social media.

If I'm not doing important things online, I spend 1-2 hours on social media. But if there's something important I need to work on, I prevent myself from logging to my social media account to make sure that I could focus on what needs to be done.

I'm sure you'll spend less time on it when you get work. Well, you can start now by acquiring a hobby or by studying diligently on a skill that you feel like will make you money. I'm not saying spending a lot of time on it is unproductive, but it's best to use your time wisely.

Currently, I live very far away from my friends right now, so I spend a lot of time on social media keeping in contact with them and seeing what they're up to in their daily lives. Social media is also very prevelant in my line of work- checking to see analytics, posting content, and answering questions for people. In total, I probably spend an average of four to six hours with social media tabs open on my laptop or computer with a combined amount of time spent on the website itself, probably two to three full hours. To be honest, I think that's too much time spent on those websites but it's such a part of society now, it's hard to avoid.

In average, I think I am spending around 5 hours through my social media accounts. That is too much for me as I am a student and I am also working online. I am still looking for an effective way for me to control my usage of social media so that I could spend more time in working.

Unlike my friends who are in Facebook every time, I open my Facebook account once a day just to check on the people close to me who are residing abroad or in the province. I post once or twice a week when there is something interesting to post about. It’s not good to be into social media too often because I might get addicted just like some of my friends.

I find social media a great time waster. If you are a freelancer but do not get your clients from social media than I would highly suggest to stay away from it. Social media websites are basically designed to keep you on the site. A lot of the time, the average person spends up to 30 minutes in one session on social media websites. Think about all that time you could be doing something else.. there's a lot to do within a 30 minute time frame. You could learn something that will grow your value, work on your skills, update your services. I mean there is a lot you can do, and do not waste your time.

I rarely go on social media anymore, I completely despise it. The only time I even go on social media is if someone tags me in a post. That's basically it. Other than that I have no true purpose for it. I have often thought about deleting my accounts but my friends would probably get mad at me.. lol

A few individuals who earn their living off social media are required to provide 6 hours minimum. My mother and father check once each day for 10 minutes. There are as many social media apps. I spend an hour or two on Facebook and Twitter. Those are the only social media sites I am active on. And I do that specifically because I know that very soon, I'll be doing some marketing on both sites. What I'm doing basically is ensuring my social media connections know that I like spending time online with them, build solid relationships first.

Afterwards when they start seeing links that point back to my blog, a number of them will click on them and probably buy what I'll sell them on the other side.

I suppose once I start doing more social media marketing I'll spend a lot more time on the sites.

It depends on what platform we’re talking about. Most people consider sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram when they hear the term “social media,” but I’m not all that fond of those sites. I personally prefer Reddit and YouTube as my social media platforms of choice.

In any case, I’m almost constantly on both of those sites. Being that I work online as a freelancer, I always have my browser open, and if my browser is open then I inevitably have tabs open for both Reddit and YouTube. There’s such an incredible amount of quality content on both sites that I can’t help but frequent them all the time.

Hi there!

To be honest with you, social media is fun for me, I use it for both personal and business reasons (I have a group with 6k audience). Lately, I log in twice a day on Facebook and browse it for 15 minutes.
