Why your social media pages should be treated like a blog network

Everyone is trying to boost their rankings, increase their traffic, have the best content marketing campaigns, etc. in order to bring in more sales to their websites.  If you're treating each of your social media pages like tier 1 private blog networks, you will dedicate yourself to them a bit more, and that means you will soon start to notice the true power they can have for your business.

Not everyone searches for something on Google or the other search engines because they prefer to be on a social network and find a page or group.  Sometimes people just stumble upon your pages because of a post you made 5 months ago, and that's always a win in my book Why your social media pages should be treated like a blog network

In this discussion, I'll be going over why your social media pages should be treated like a blog network.

You're piggybacking off of authority websites
If you're on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc. you will be on authority platforms that had to approve your account at some level.  Sure, most of the time you're auto-approved, but you're still on those platforms, and you will essentially be piggybacking off of their authority.

You won't get an SEO boost because you're on these platforms, because they are usually nofollow when a link is placed, but your authority will rise over time as long as you're active and post often Why your social media pages should be treated like a blog network

You're posting to various platforms with a ton of traffic
Treating your social media profiles like a blog network is a great thing to do because these platforms have a massive amount of traffic that you can tap in to.  If you do it right, you will be building a new traffic stream towards your website, and that means an increase in sales over time.

Facebook alone has billions of page views each day that you can tap into and make some money.  Pair that up with Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc. and you will compile your traffic streams.  The more traffic you get, the more potential sales you can acquire, and the more successful your business will become.  You just need to be active and consistent with your posts before you see your work compile in a good way.

Parasites are great ways to funnel authority
If you're branding your business or website on these big social networks, you will essentially be funneling authority to your own websites, which is an amazing thing to have.  You won't get a boost in your DA, but you will get a boost in authority in the eyes of your viewers, and that means they will trust you more.

The more trust you build by increasing your authority, the more likely people will purchase from you without doing any research.  We all know that authority is a great thing to have for your business, so start treating your social profiles like your tier 1 PBN links and watch your traffic increase Why your social media pages should be treated like a blog network

You should always post even though you're not getting an SEO boost
A lot of companies don't post often to social media profiles because they aren't getting an SEO boost which will help them in the SERPs.  Posting an article or comment on a website or blog, tied together with a link to your website (a backlink), will help you jump to page 1 in the search engine rankings.  Posting something like this to a social media profile won't do anything except get your name in front of potential buyers, which isn't a horrible thing, but it will never help when it comes to SEO.

You need to post regularly on social media in order to keep your brand in front of your potential customers.  The more they see you online, the more likely they will trust you, and that means they will purchase or send someone to you if they are interested in what you have to offer.

In conclusion
Treating your social media profiles like they're a part of your PBN will get you to post quality content, engage with people all of the time, and try to funnel people to your pages as much as possible.  Some people say this is just a dedicated social media marketing campaign, but it's more than that, you're building a sales funnel on a massive scale that will help you for a long time to come.  Don't slack off when it comes to social media, keep posting even if the posts aren't getting liked or boosting your followers because you never know how long it will be until you compile enough information on your pages before you're successful Why your social media pages should be treated like a blog network

I've been using my social media pages and groups as blogging platform and in my opinion if you could harness and direct the power of social media to your own advantage using funnelling methods and in levelling up your authority then it could turn out to be a good workhorse for monetizing your blog.

My take on social media is that it is the most potent venue for marketing your business. If you will be creative in your posting in Facebook and in Twitter I’m sure you can get a lot of positive reactions to your promotional posts. Take note that social media is giving you the benefit of building your own network of users such that you can use those inside your network for your advantage particularly in business.

Social media is a good way to promote your blog. As this article says, do not give up even if your posts don't get likes, we never know that maybe someone might be interested and that someone can share it to his/her friends and then it spreads in time. As we know social media platforms has a very wide range and is limitless. Just keep on posting it is free afterall.

That's just the truth as persistent writing is one of the better ways to keep making others notice us. It may not get the needed likes from the beginning, but it doesn't mean that it is something that is not going to be achieved.

Giving our social media profiles the professional look is definitely one of the ways that we can get to ensure that we look really good to go when we are trying to link it up to our business. It is not something that is going to happen overnight, but giving it a go is never a bad idea as well.

I totally agree with you and there are many ways to easily implement your advice. There are many automation tools that make it very easy for me to keep my social media profiles and pages populated with my blog posts. But much of my social sharing is also accomplished manually.
  • An example of an automated process is using LinkedIn free automated posting service. When I publish a blog post, it will automatically post to my LinkedIn profile. My LI profile is associated with my Twitter, so it also automatically posts to my Twitter account.
  • Some people don't take advantage of Flipboard and Paper.li, but you can use these tools to easily present your blog as a
magazine or a newsletter. Have you ever seen your blog laid out in a magazine or newsletter format? It can be very attractive and could attract subscribers.

Examples of how I manually share blog posts include:
  • Sharing your blog posts in Facebook groups and/or Google Plus communities. Many of these groups and communities have lots of members.
  • Since I blog about a wide range of topics, I created collections on Google Plus and pinboards on Pinterest to organize the posts by specific topics.

I understood the importance of social media pages for the websites and businesses long before I launched my business and websites. THus, when I launched my first website, I created a facebook page, pinterest account, and twitter account for my website. sadly, I could not make most from the social media accounts because I could not manage to gain followers for my page and accounts.

Some businesses have even solely dedicated their resources to social media pages rather than allocate it on their blogging, so it's really important especially for startups to understand how social media is a valuable tool for your business growth and should be properly maintained and managed.

What's great with social media is that there's no limit to the number of people or members that you can pitch to. One can grow his profile members, subscribers and his authority to reach tens of millions of people all over the globe. It's not really easy to do this but it's doable. All one needs is to have a social media development plan with clear targets.

I kind of agree with you and the thing is that you can't really ensure that the people that you are reaching out to are ready to get the products and services that you are offering. So, being sure of that is one way to keep things going fine.

You should treat social media as a blogging platform because it can be converted into one. Actually a social media blogging platform can be more effective in several areas like political and promotional news.

I believe that social media is like a fertile virgin land that is waiting to be tapped. I have seen social media influencers who are raking money from the traffic that they get from their legion of followers. There are some influencers who are not really that good but they seem to have a magnet in the social media. In other words, social media is a means of virtual traffic for the website.

I can see that you have carefully laid out a strategic plan employing all platforms possible and taking advantage of them. There's no direct tangible results but it gains you authority and name recall in the long run. Sometimes there are really things we overlook that we feel insignificant but can actually reap rewards in time. And ofcourse, this is to acknowledge how powerful social media is in terms of influence and reaching out prospects.

I spoiled much of my popularity with my posts on facebook. How I wish I knew these things early. I would be a better informed social network contributor.

What you said is really correct and helpful! Using social media profiles could also be a way to promote your blog and also for people to know about you. I saw people became successful by using their social media profiles. They used it as an instrument or a step towards their success. You just have to be creative and gain trust from your friends in your social media profile. It is also true to continue posting eventhough you didn't get what you expected to receive, just take it as a step forward and then rest will be just a bonus.

It is indeed a blogpost site. It should be called a personal blog because what you posting in facebook is more on personal stull in yourself. But we should also care what it would be the reflection of our facebook in our personality.

Many of the hiring managers also check the applicant's social media site especially facebook in assessing them. I worked as an HR and when we are able to reduce the list to the most qualified our hiring manager, considers their facebook posts as "background" check. My boss prefers an applicant who has no drinking problem. Whenever an applicant especially high level positions, if the applicant has too many drinking session, he does not consider hiring them. It goes to show how social media sites can be influencial. It can be considered as VERY personal blogging sites. Most readers and visitors love a very transparent content because it could be "entertaining" at times. People are more inclined to being entertained than to be informed.

It is simply because in social media there will be a free natural traffic becaise it is normal that other people will see your post, unlike blog network that traffic isn't that easy to have. We must treat our social media accounts like a blog network because it can also serve as a blog, forum etc. where we can share our work, promote something and we can also ask isn't it awesome? Social media is quite identical to blog network.

I make sure that my social media pages are precise and very informative and far away from posting negative stuff. I have visited many social media profile and I am disappointed for what they are posting there. Most of it are very personal and not healthy to read it. I do not understand that they should at least knew that they social media is reflecting it from their personality. They should avoid posting something against to others with negative impact to the readers.

Numerous independent ventures don't understand the capability of internet based life. More terrible, they don't comprehend the essentialness or even the significance of web based life. It is assumed by numerous that internet based life is for huge organizations or those organizations that require a statewide, across the country or worldwide group of onlookers. Internet based life isn't for neighborhood shops, so stands the view of a huge number of entrepreneurs. This sort of reasoning should be exposed. Web based life is applicable, useful and extremely critical for autonomous private ventures.
