Both traffic, and Google page rank are complimentary to each other.
If you have good page rank it means you page is visited by targeted visitors ,and have good traffic.

Neither of them really effect SEO. SEO, as it stands for Search Engine Optimization is exactly that. Gaining more traffic doesn't optimize anything.

Both. PR isn't important, though it can help your website in SERPs. You optimize your website to get traffic.

Both are important. Traffic and google page rank. High traffic means that your SEO is good and high google page rank is also good for your SEO.

Since the main porpoise of SEO is making money, from this point of view the most important is the traffic.

And in my opinion traffic and page rank are two distinct thinks. And more then that traffic is not a part of SEO.

You optimize your website for search engine so you get traffic, you do not start to get traffic and this make you more optimize for search engine

Traffic, forget focusing on pagerank, that's really just a number coz many pages with lower PR still rank in the SERPs over some higher PR sites.

Traffic and Google page rank both are the result of SEO. When you do SEO, you will get a good page rank when you have a good page rank you will get a good traffic. Therefore SEO ultimately benefits traffic to your site and search engine rank page. Traffic to your site does not guarantee google page rank, however, google page rank affects traffic.

The content is the very foundation of a website. Without contents, there is no website to speak of that’s why for me, the most important factor for the page rank of Google is the contents. When you regularly upload good contents that is unique and well crafted, you get the advantage in the evaluation of the search engines on the SEO capability of your website. Good contents means it is directly relevant to your niche and it has interesting information to share.
