    What’s the best method to attract Amazon affiliate traffic?

    I was wondering what techniques amazon affiliates use to drive traffic to their site.

    I want traffic that converts, not fake traffic, not traffic bots

    You need to use PPC ad networks like Google Adwords, Bing Ads, and Facebook advertising but before that create a landing page for your Amazon product to promote. You can use Google keyword planner to find specific keywords for your niche and then targeted traffics for your product.

    Choose the right niche before you start. Plan it through and you will see success so if your good at books do affiliate about books. Maybe DVDS or electricals do it around them areas but try think of some good keywords but not too competitive.
    Look on YouTube as well at others ideas I may self-run one through WordPress with Amazon affiliate plugin which works wonders I cover everything from clothing fashion to toys and so on with many different categories I spend time thinking of great content with it and keywords to the right titles.     I think writing reviews seems to be one good method for getting the affiliate traffic. As you can see some of the time links convert and some of the time that does not work at all. I have found that some cases where we need amazon affiliate traffic, from social media. So that trick also works out. So you may want to take a look at that. There are times when we amazon affiliate links convert lot easier but sometimes they don;t at all.

    I agree with you. In fact, I know some sites that invite writers to join their community and write product reviews. An example of such a site is HonestReviewz.com. Also, there are sites that you can join that already have a fairly decent SEO ranking and you can write content and advertise products with affiliate links. Webnuggetz.com is such as site. You can establish your own site. But at these sites, you can earn and share links back to your site in your author profile for more earnings.

    The new rule of amazon for the fixed commission is a bit sad news. That means even sending 1000 users and they buying 100 products won't increase the commission. We just have to work with that option. I think the new changed affiliate rules are what may affect the affiliates earning a lot from this year. I hope alternative comes up for better rates.

    Yes. But I understand Amazon's decision. They allow affiliates to sign up free. Somewhere along the line, earning commissions and making a profit have to be a win-win partnership for all parties involved.

    I think the change in commission was due to amazon reducing the fees on the prime delivery and the subscription. And they have to recover the money some way. And for this reason I am thinking that they are reducing affiliate pay. I expected that usually when brands become too powerful they do this.

    I think the best way to benefit from amazon affiliate program is writing reviews of certain products and adding affiliate products in the body of the article. If your review is well optimized for search engine, it will appear in search result. Your link will get clicked the person who lands on your page might also buy the product.

    Yes but those review posts needs to have some level of backlink. Because that's how they are going to be discovered. So that's another thing to be consider here. I personally think that amazon traffic is not hard. But requires some level of effort. And it can be done properly. I personally see different traffic methods in this case.

However, you can also promote your affiliate website on social media. You can do a paid marketing as well as free marketing on social media.

    Pick a right niche for you firstly and don't be afraid to post your affiliate links wherever you think is relevant, for example you watch a YouTube video talking about a certain product go ahead and post your link in the comments, or on the product reviews itself. Just don't be afraid to post your links anywhere you can and feel appropriate

    The answer is social media, most importantly Twitter and facebook, this is where everyone seems to be these days.
    Create a page for your website on facebook or create a Twitter account. Build audience and begin sharing your products. You can also join facebook groups and share your products.
    Instead of sharing products direcrly, you can also have affiliate products on your blog posts and share these posts on social media account.

    I'm also an Amazon affiliate,the best bet is to write a good review of your products for promotion hammering on the strength of the products,how to use the products and why he should bu the product,then place the link in the body of the review then share to all your social media account and forums to drive traffic,if you post it on your blog even better for search engine ranking and indexing.

    I also believe that if you review a product and add the product with your review, you have a better change for driving sales. For example, you reviewed an iPhone and added iPhone ads on your review. People searching for iPhone reviews might come to your page. If they like your review, they might buy that product. I am using iPhone just as an example.

    My suggestion is social media and Facebook Ads in particular. I have not used Facebook Ads yet but based on the discussions that I have come across gave me the notion that it is one of the best considering the small budget needed as low as $5 per day. Facebook Ads also has a trick that it uses the names of some of your Facebook friends who supposedly liked the ad even if they didn’t.
