NEW FROM GOOGLE - Personal Tab Search in Google Results

Google is always updating and expanding into new territories. One of the latest developments in terms of personalized search is the Personal Tab.
We all know Google keeps score on all of your searches, especially if you are logged into your Google account when you are doing the search. This upset a lot of people over time but Google didn't seem to take that into consideration as an invasion of privacy. In fact, it has taken a step further in this direction with the Personal Tab inside the search experience.

Now, when you are doing a search, get ready to see this new tab button called "Personal". It will show you past interactions with that specific search query if you have any.
This tab only seems available on a mobile search. I've tried it on the desktop and it doesn't show me anything. Here is an example, I've searched for the term "Discord" (a chat app for gamers) and this was my result in the personal tab:

But the Personal search tab can show you a lot more information. For example, you can search for a certain product that you bought and the personal tab will show you the date as well as other information from your interaction with the specific product. In the case above Google had only to show the verify email that the app sent me when I first registered.

I personally think this is a great feature and will get better with time as more update will be implemented. I sometimes forget what my previous searches and interactions achieved so it will be of great help to have a history on all of this, stating in clear what my exact steps were, this might hep me to take off where from where I stopped.

What do you think about this new Google search update? Do you think this is too much and it invades your privacy?
I think its pretty normal, they already have all of your search histories, they might as well put it to good use and deliver everything into a more user-friendly format.

I never noticed that feature, Strange yet I use Google search everyday in everything :') I use To bookmark and Save pages for future uses and I keep my History too though my anti- virus give me an option to delete my historic for better safaty but I prefer to keep it because sometimes I need to go back To my searches, Any way that feature will help for sure, And I'll check and see about it.

I didn't know about this and checked it out after reading this discussion. When I click on this personal tab I found that some messages that I received in my Gmail were displayed. It is true that I feel that Google is invading my privacy at times.

In terms of my own personal productivity this is amazing. I love the idea that if I want to find a search I carried out one year ago I can go back to it, maybe to improve on it or find the same sites and products. However this should be limited to me. This becomes dangerous when Google uses this personal data to make money and to spy on me and other people.Google should be clear on its policy to this.

Does this mean to say that the Personal Tab of Google is only available in mobile browsers just like Instagram that doesn’t work with desktops and laptops? What can you see with this development? It looks like the direction of internet technology is going to mobile. Google has a huge research and development group that probably decided about mobile browsers which are now the dominant force in the internet.
