Do you take your success for granted?

Today when reading OptimismSEO's success story, it got me thinking, why don't we see and hear of more success stories? Because there are probably a lot of people on here with an SEOClerks success story, and it got me wondering, why don't we hear more from these people that have found success through the SEOClerks marketplace? Do these people take their success for granted? Do they just assume that it's just the way it is and they don't need to thank anyone for that success? I guess they don't really "owe" anyone anything. They pay their fees, they pay their dues, everyone is happy. But that success can be used as a tool to make you even more successful. How? By posting your success story here of course!

Do successful people need to give thanks for their success? I personally think they should. I sure do! At the very least, I'm grateful. But I'm a person that knows that tomorrow isn't promised, that every day you wake up is a gift. (Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history and today is a gift that's why they call it "the present"). And that any earnings or money you make online through SEOClerks, you should be grateful for that, for them putting this site up in the first place. Well I'm sure you are! But without it, you wouldn't have that success, on here. You'd probably be using some other site, some other marketplace or something. You may not even find that success anywhere else. SEOClerks could be the main and sole reason why you're actually successful anyway.

So it just makes me wonder, and makes me want to ask. Do you take your success for granted?

Are you complacent about your online earnings through SEOClerks or other Ionicware sites?

Remember this: when you take things for granted - the things you are granted get taken.

Never take anything for granted. Anything that you appreciate. Never!

What about you? How do you feel about your success?

Do you just take it for granted or are you grateful and thankful for it?

Your are right Mike. I think there should be more success stories as a lot as helped me on here as well. That as got me thinking I may create a few success stories on here as there are few members such as Your Self who as really helped me on here and helped me achieve some of my goals.

I think you hit the nail on the head there Mike, As I do feel some do take things for granted . Some moan on here not everyone, lol But some moan about there services they received from buyers thinking that it isn't good enough even tho we try are best and maybe are work is good enough they just want to complain as they got no patience. But yeah 100% right more of us should create success stories on here not just for buyers but also sellers. Because if you think of it as well if it wasn't for us sellers some may not of the success say with seo or youtube and blogs and so on.

You make some extremely good points on this article, viewing that success stories often give me the motivation to be able to get up to the standard of such stories have achieved.

The one idea really hit me as to if whether or not successful people need to be thankful for success. Rather see humble successful people run the industry.

I'm pretty motivated to try to find success so I try my best to be humble when success comes my way. I'm in the beginning stages of innovating myself to be able to generate something here.

Good question. Bearing in mind though that success means different things to different people. I guess a universal rule is not to take success for granted at any level, but rather to find a way to giving back to the society or to the world. Some, if not all of the world's most famous billionaires are known for their philanthropic principles. Not because they don't know what to do with their money, but they have leaned a secret to success; the more you give, the more you get.

I believe on you. Success should not be taken as granted. People should be proud on their success. Other people out there doing everything to be successful in any ways.

No, I do not at all! The other day I heard something like succes makes you relax, and if you relax... you lose. I could not agree more! Succes is not a destiny, but a whole road you just have to keep working for it and learn in the process.

Nice post! It has really keep me thinking...

I've come to realize that sometimes I do, I take it for granted, especially when it is a "small succes". Because I think if I get too confortable with it I won't try harder to make a "bigger succes" happen. I tend to classify them too as you can notice. I don't know if this is healthy or not but I guess is my way of seeing it.

Thanks for the post again!

I took success for granted in past. I earned some amount of money in past and It got over my head. And that's something I'd say that needs to be avoided. I'd never let the money go over my head. As they say it's not over till the fat lady sings. Same is the case with the money. It's never over with money. And we have to learn and get adjusted with the money the way we can. And that's something we learn as the time goes on. And depending on how you're dealing with as well. We can learn to be humble and adjust with the success.

I cannot call myself a success in my freelancing because I am working part time only. But maybe I can consider myself a success in my full time job because I have reached an executive position. As what my husband would always tell me, not everyone can be a vice president of the biggest bank in the country. However, I try not to put that success in my head and I’m still the same in my dealings with people. But I’m not taking it for granted either because it gives me the confidence to realize that I am in a high position already in our office.

I also would not call myself a success yet. I am however making slow(sooooo slow) but sure progress. It is taking a while to make the money I want. However I understand that this takes a while. I am seeing more and more traffic on my blog. I’m also seeing my income increase slowly but steadily. I thank God for any little success however small and I don’t take it for granted. I appreciate my success and can only hope I continue to grow.
