    Does blog commenting on posts work for you

    Does Blog commenting on other blog posts work for you ?

    Recently I have been using the post commenting to gain few backlinks , its working slowly so far.
    I just know I need to keep at it as I was told by few people manual link building is the best way. I am targeting niche related not just dropping my link. But I do also show interest in the post as do see many members just throwing there link in there some of the time the owner of the blog will delete it. This is why I show interest and comment about the site and the information which is helpful.

    Is there any great Tactics you use ?

    For me I also search daily on google and also use the dropmylink site which helps look for do follow blogs and niche related sites. It is fairly good site to use . Even tho its called dropmylink don't just find site and drop your link and go... No try do a great feedback to the site you are commenting on and also show Value of interest in the blog or site you are commenting on. This way if the mod as to approve the comment good chances they will approve it ... If its just a comment saying " Cool check my site" chances are its gonna get deleted.

    Please share your thoughts whats your tactics if you have any and do they work effectively .

    I have found that blog commenting is a good way to get good, niche related, backlinks, but
    it can be extremely time consuming.

    Like you say, the best way to get a blog comment approved is to make meaningful comments
    that add something to the discussion. However, I have also found that a lot of
    people will delete any comment that has a link in it, which can make you feel
    like you are wasting your time sometimes.


    I think the trick is to persevere, keep commenting, and accept that a fairly large number
    of the comments that you make will be deleted, but the ones that stick will make
    the effort worthwhile.

    I will after look into the scrapebox herd this a few times been mentioned but never thought much of it. Sounds like a good way or should I say easier way is it lol. It is tiring with the commenting but I have found on one of my sites it is starting to take effect. That and daily share on social media networking websites.

    I love using blog commenting to get high quality backlinks related to my niche. Many people have in the past told me it's pointless to sit and post on blogs to gain good backlinks and that there are much easier less time consuming ways to get good backlinks, I don't see how and if there were I am pretty sure it wouldn't be overly good in terms of good SEO. I would rather sit and blog comment on a handful of blogs and know I am gaining high quality back links, besides I love posting on blogs so what better way to help your site than to do something you love?

    I stopped doing blog commenting a few years ago for international websites at least. I used to offer blog commenting as service here on SEOclerks, I remember this was one of my best selling services and I actually made a lot of money with it.

    Overall here is my take on blog commenting: It might still hold some weight from a backlink point of view and might still even drive some traffic. ut overall, doing it on a large scale, isn't profitable anymore.

    It was making sense in some times past but not anymore. I remember back in the day whereby one can even setup a webiste offering it as a service. Nowadays the engagements aren't much to reckon with and thus, blog and forum owners have looked the other way.

    You can do two three of blog commenting
    1. offer blog commenting service and earn money by commenting on your client websites.
    2. comment on your friends' blogs and get reciprocated (your friend will surely comment on your blog)
    3. leave comments on blogs for traffic and backlink.
    I am doing all of these and these blog commenting techniques have always helped me.

    Blog commenting is a great way to link back to ones blog,I do this a lot and it has been very effective.

    The great way to get the best from.blog commenting is to comment intelligently on blogs, give valuable tips and write with authority. People would be in a hurry to check out one's blog.Another way is not to spam with your comment and don't litter the blog with your link so as not to be deleted by the site owner.

    If you are a blogger and you post on another blog, that has the chance of getting a positive retaliation. Especially when your comment has substance and interesting, readers who regularly see your good comments will be aroused of their interest that there will come a time that they will check on your blog. That means you have to give a hint on your comments that you also have a blog.

    I personally haven't much found value from the blog commenting. The reason being people don't comment back. And also the comment getting has anti spam so we can't use the links to our blogs either. So it makes it a bit harder to work with the blog commenting. And that being said, you should be thinking on the blog commenting needs to be used only if you can get the most from it.
