SEO Yoast Update 4.6 - Cornerstone content feature

Most Wordpress blog owners out there use Yoast SEO for their on page SEO, Yoast is clearly the most popular plugin of its kind around, regularly update and always introducing new features.

The cornerstone content update is one of those features. We all have big pieces of content on our blog that we put a lot of work into and had high expectations, now you can prioritizing those posts/articles by checking the "cornerstone content" box in the Yoast analyzing section of its post.


These important articles, once checked are analyzed in detailed and a special section will be created for them in the article listing section:


I can't really see any additional benefit about this feature except the fact that you can mark important articles and analyze them in depth. In essence it doesn't make any magic happen to get your articles ranking better, you need to work on that!
Together with this new feature Yoast also fixed a bunch of bugs which is always cool so make sure you update to the new Yoast 4.6 and let me know your opinion about it below.

Really enjoyed your post discussion cristian about the new yoast feature for wordpress. I haven't done the upgrade yet I will have to upgrade and check this new feature out . So wouldn't you say it does that much really apart for the in depth analysis for your blog. Is this worth the upgrade as was thinking about upgrading as herd that it helps more with not just one keyword but with many in the upgraded version.

Yes this was explained well in Brian clarks article. simply It's all about making a page more vibrant with centralized content for a keyword/page.
