Is The New Text Editor Weird And Bad? What Do You Think Guys?

At the moment, I am still not a seller, but I continue to buy here on SEOClerks.

And I found out that both copy paste and also Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V produce weird bad stuff.
Copy paste, paste all phrases together; Ctrl + C and Ctrl+ V produce too many spaces (the aspect is different than notepad while
previously it was the same)

I think that especially for sellers it is probably a little nightmare to build their ads….

Is this text editor to stay?

Anyway, what’s your opinion on this??

It's cool, but a lot of bugs are still there...

There is one very annoying bug that won't show Images in orders - like instructions, delivery messages and before and after screenshots. So if a seller has an image showing the instructions instead of text, it won't show anymore.

Instead, it shows a blank white image like it can be seen on the screenshot below.

Also, as Mike mentioned, some system functions like CTRL + C / CTRL + Z won't work. So if you need to put a lot of information in the delivery message and you remove some text, there is no going back as CTRL + Z is not working and you have to start from the beginning.

If those issues are solved i think i can rate the Editor 8 out of 10 stars.
Having an option to revert back to the old Editor via Settings would also be a good idea. People should not be forced on using something they are not used to do or they don't like. Just a friendly advice for everyone. Is The New Text Editor Weird And Bad? What Do You Think Guys?

Uh, as you can see even the screenshot here is not working. And seems like smileys don't work too...

See my note below:
Images should work. The smilies and your image works above. I believe the problem with them loading blank is due to AJAX but if you reload the page they should be present.

Thanks for the input guys! The copy/paste should past correctly, it sounds like you have a cached version of the JS for the editor loaded. Can you test on a new browser or clear your cache?

- Ctrl + Z, will fix. Thanks for the update.

Seems to be working now, but the issue was present for the last 12 hours. I am not judging anyone, i just reported what i saw, we love SEOClerks as it's the only source of income for my family and 3 more people working part time! Is The New Text Editor Weird And Bad? What Do You Think Guys?

Keep up the great work! We are not just a marketplace, but a community.
It's so amazing to see that the staff gets involved in users discussions and are doing their best to help! Is The New Text Editor Weird And Bad? What Do You Think Guys? So don't get our response wrong. The Editor gets 8 out of 10 stars and once everything starts working perfectly, i am sure everyone will get used to it and like it better than the old one.

Which issue was present during the last 12 hours? There was an update yesterday, around mid-day which resolved some of the issues so I don't disagree with you. Is the copy/paste resolved?

- The Undo is still a bug/issue.
- Images should work now on AJAX replies - can you confirm?

Any other issues? Any issues with the image uploader?

Hopefully today an image browser (browse your own uploaded images) and an image search (search for images) will be released. After that is auto draft save and preview. Then, there are a few more things to come such as macros (responses you make over and over will be savable and easily used), some additional buttons/functions/styles and possibly templates so it is easier to format content.

The issue with the images was present the last 12 hours and it started working again 2 hours ago. While it's working perfectly now, from time to time it would show a blank white image, again but it could be because we haven't cleared cookies (so it can be just us).

That actually isn't an issue with the editor, it is with the BBCode pre-processor which adds lazy loading to images. Lazy loading means it will not load the image until the user can see it (IE: Scroll down) which makes the connecting/viewing process faster for end users.

Hopefully that can be resolved as i am not an expert in BBCode so i can't judge you guys, but don't you think it's still better to have an option to revert back to the old editor while the new one is still in "Beta"? While for me it's completely okay and i got used to it, but some buyers that have no much experience in programming and are completely new to SEOClerks may think that something is wrong with the website and it won't look professional to them...

The reason i am saying this, i really don't want SEOClerks to end up like another competitor site and i don't think that would really happen, but anyways, on the competitor website (that i wouldn't like to mention at all as they don't deserve additional advertising), they started rolling out updates and more updates and changed the design like 10 times, including their search algorithm, which caused a lot of users, including me, to stay away from there.

Again, this is just a friendly advice and i am just saying what other people may think. I look forward to using our brand new editor as it's not something bad and the intention of having it is not bad, it actually looks way more professional than the old basic "forum" editor. But, having a lot of bugs and forcing users to use it, if you ask me, i won't agree for such a thing. Instead i would suggest having senior members to use it - including me, i have nothing against it and once every single bug is fixed, the old one can be phased out.
