    There's no question about it. Social media will always be the most important aspect. However, people often forget these "easier things", like being active in the community Discussions for instance. And why? - Because most people, especially new freelancers, think it's all about spamming their service urls. And that's wrong.

    By being active in the community discussion people will notice you. And that will automatically increase your chances of making sales. It's literally a win-win situation.

    There are many ways to promote your services. You could start off by setting up a blog or site. You should also use different social media platforms. However if you mean getting more exposure on this site, you should use affiliate marketing, bumps, feature your services, and be active on community discussions.
