Hey guys,
I just want to ask, do you think there's a market for short stories in general?
Obviously it will all come down to supply and demand, like with any other thing, but I'm curious to find out. I won't say that I believe that I'm a good writer, but I definitely believe that it's easier to write shorter stories than longer ones. - And most people would probably agree on this. That being said, when you're writing short stories, there's also the feeling of leaving things out I guess. So it's a bit different writing style than what I'm used to.
Do you have any experience with this? - Where did you sell/publish your stories? - And did it work out well for you?

My ebook that I wrote was more of a short story than a full length novel. A novel is usually around 120 000 words or so? My ebook was 22 000 words so it wasn't exactly a very long ebook.
My ebook has sold a good few copies now so I think it worked well for me. I was quite worried about the length actually and I asked for advice. The thing is that a story is as long as it needs to be. I said everything that I needed to say in my ebook. Trying to make it longer would not have worked for me. I didn't want to waffle on or try and add in more content for the sake of length.
