Where can I sell my eBooks?

Ok so I have listed my eBook for sale here, on ListingDock and on Wordclerks.

So far I think I am doing well with sales. I have sold 6 copies on ListingDock.

I am leaving ListingDock as the link to buy from in my website blog post about my eBook but I would love to try and increase my sales and reach even further.

I think Amazon I have to have my eBook listed as a Kindle Book, so I would then have to convert my pdf to a Kindle Book right?

Has anyone here sold eBooks on Amazon before and can you recommend any other places that would be worth my while listing my eBook?

Amazon and Ebay would be great places to get some sales. For the kindle you would definitely have to convert it to the format that is accepted for their device, but I'm not 100% sure what that is. I'm sure with a simple Google search you could figure that out pretty quick

If you sell a few ebooks a month, your rating will increase and your ebook will actually begin to sell even more. Their algorithm prioritizes popular items within their specific niches and will show them more within the search results. I have a few shirts on amazon merch that sell a lot more simply because they made a couple sales and now show up more often in the search results You could even pay people to buy the ebook from you so that you can get those initial few sales under your belt. This way you're almost guaranteed a higher listing in the search results. I would do that with all of my shirts on amazon merch but I simply have too many designs on there and I would go broke lol.

If your ebook is in a niche that is competitive then it will take a little more time to start getting the sales wave coming in through amazon because a ton of other ebooks are getting sold daily. You can optimize your listing by using keywords in your titles and descriptions, and you can keyword stuff the hell out of them if you'd like lol. It takes time but it's worth it if you put in the time.

Ebay as you know is another huge platform to sell stuff on. I'm not 100% sure on the methods to sell on there because I don't have anything listed over there. But I have heard people raking in a good amount of money with ebooks over there because they can list and forget

You can also set up a website that is dedicated to selling your ebook and then set up a PPC campaign on adwords.gogle.com and bingads.microsoft.com to pull in some sales. That's way to make a sale, but it does take a small investment on your end.

Thanks Razzy. I have been checking out Amazon KDP but I apparently have to be exclusive to Amazon for at least 3 months and I have already listed my eBook here and on the Ionicware websites. I don't want to remove them from here but I am feeling a little miffed that I can't get them listed on Amazon too.

I will try out eBay and see what is on offer there. Thanks for the suggestion, I never thought of eBay for eBooks!

I have my niche website so I have added a blog post about the eBook and added it to my top menu, plus I have been promoting it via social networks. I still have to do my Youtube video!

You can try fiverr and other similar marketplaces out there. What about your addiction blog? Can people buy your book from your blog, I sure a simple plugin can fix everything for you from a logistic point of view.

Soon you will be able to sell you ebook on FB marketplace, so look a little deeper into that!
Also, I've found this: https://smallbiztrends.com/2015/11/places-to-publish-your-business-ebook.html - 32 marketplaces where you can publish your ebook, have fun and publish on as many as possible to increase you exposure!

Oh great, thank you Cristian. If I sell it on Fiverr I would have to sell it for $5 though right?

I don't know how to sell it directly on my website, I was thinking of looking into this and seeing if I can figure it out.

Yes my mission for the next week is to publish my ebook on as many websites as possible.

I like amazon for e-Books they seem to do well on it. All that you have to do is try i don't think it costs anything to put it up on Amazon unless you sell it. I have been looking around and i found so many sites that you can sell your book on its amazing. Just to name a few to get your started Payhip, LuLu, Smashwords, Kobo Writing Life, pubit, Book Tango, Book Baby, My E Book, Blurb, E Junkie, E book it, Trade bit, and MORE! I know it sounds crazy but i would pick 5 of these that get the most traffic and i would take your E Book to the next level. Im sure each of these sites have a decent following and im sure you will be able to make sales. Keep pushing Lynne done stop until this thing has hundreds sold.

Thank you so much Jkeyz2 That is so helpful. Yeah I am going to be pushing big time to get my eBook out there as much as possible!

I had a look yesterday at Amazon but the problem is that I need to publish it at Amazon only for the first 90 days which really sucks. I will look at maybe doing my next eBook at Amazon first and see how those sales go then.

Amazon is the best place to sell your ebook. Publish your ebook as Kindle book on Amazon kindle. When you sell a kindle book you are entitled to 70 percent commission. You can also sell ebooks on smashword, Barnes and Noble etc. If you have a website, you can sell your ebook directly from your website.

You could try selling on Fiverr and eBay for both sites can offer you the best when it comes to making profits by selling on them. I would have to suggest that you go into deeper research before starting your sales on those sites to avoid selling your ebook lower than what it is actually worth. Kind regards as you make your move towards increasing the sales of your ebook.
