I recently ?received an mms and somehow, I saved it on my phone, but realized that I deleted the photo and the actual mms, so there's no way to get it back.. Or is there?
At first I didn't think that I would be able to get it back but I randomly stumbled across this: How to Restore Lost Photos from Android Mobile Phone
That being said, I haven't tried this yet and I thought I'd check with you guys before doing it. So, have you ever used this/done this? - Have you ever retrieved deleted photos?
Is there any other option to do this and is this even possible?
Let me know guys, I'd appreciate it
You can Use EaseUS Data Recovery Software Pro for any mobile and SD card data recovery. Hope it will solve your problem
Are you sure you want to delete this post?
Thank you for your reply. I believe you mean this: http://www.easeus.com/ ?
I didn't read much about it and I'm actually a bit skeptical trying things like this as I have no experience.. But it seems like this is to recover deleted files on your computer? - Does it work for mobiles too?
Do you have any personal experience using this? - Would you mind sharing some of your experience?
Thanks for your reply!
Yes, I actually managed to retrieve deleted data from my HDD, although I don't know much about what kind of memory your phone has, you may find some software out there capable of getting them back.
As far as I know you can't retrieve data from SSDs once you've deleted it. Phone SD is a similar technology but I remember retrieving photos from my old nokia phone old school SD after I deleted them, my friends always wanted me to delete certain photos of them, but I always used to impress them by getting those photos back once I got home.
LOL. I can imagine that being a cool "party trick". - "Look here everyone. Now it's gone.. And now it's back again!"
Personally I've never tried that app, but yeah there are some softwares that allows you to recover anything you want if the disk/memory it's not formatted, even if it's formatted there are some chances to get old files back, but very rarely, as that depends in many factors. For example, when you delete files on your computer you're not erasing them for real, in fact you're only deleting addresses that point you to the location of the file in your hard disk, that's why you still can recover deleted files via some softwares.
Thank you procoder, I appreciate your reply. As I consider you to have more knowledge than me in this particular field. - When I delete a file, on my computer or on my phone, that doesn't matter. Then that file is gone. You said that you're actually just deleting addresses that point to the location of the files.. But if I delete a file I also end up with more free memory. So if I restore a file, I'd basically tell my computer or my phone that the address is valid and that it should point to the file again, even though I deleted the file for starters.. So that basically means that the phone or computer restore the file and the file size too then?
I must say that this is quite a useful information for those that have given up hope of restoring photos from their Android phones that have got some issues. I had such issues back in the days and because I never had such an insightful information as the one you gave now, I had to throw away my phone without getting my photos of it.
There are some data recovery tools. That you can use as an app. Also you can use the PC to Android bridge. And then use the apps to get the content out of the SD card. And that seems to be working for many people who are working on the Android phone part. You can see that keeping a tab over the images. I think PC inspector file recovery is one good option for the file is something one can take a look at for restoration of content.
That being said, Android phone some of the time may require root permission to recover the files. So you may have to take a look at this part as well.
I think there is no easy way to bring it back. I will do research if its possible to retrieve it. It never happened to me but this kind of thing but surely I will do research about it.
