Twitter Killed Its App Vine

These last few days I've read a lot of bad news about Twitter as how they're going down day by day , personally I'm not fan of Twitter and I've already said that before but I think that Twitter will be dead within some years, and that it's not only my opinion, before a few weeks ago if I'm not wrong Twitter was considering to sell itself. Now, as it seems they are killing its own app vine that they bought it in 2013, which is a very popular app that allows you share short-forms videos online.

Apparently, they're doing that to revive Twitter again, it's hard to say if they will succeed with this move, but probably it's the right thing to do in the situation that they are.

Official Announcement

Today, we are sharing the news that in the coming months we’ll be discontinuing the mobile app.

Google needed to buy Twitter ASAP, before to much damage is done. Apparently, Pornhub shows interest in Twitter's Vine saying 6 second is more than enough for most people.

Anyway, I never used Vine so I'll never miss it but I think Twitter is making a lot of bad moves lately and it still haven't shown it can be profitable just yet so shareholders may get frightened and it will not be the first time when Twitter's stocks crumble and fall.
That's why I think Google must take over when Twitter is weak, it will give the company a huge burst in popularity and will calm down investors.

OK so I must seriously be living under a rock and I didn't even know it. I have never even heard of Vine?

I hope Twitter is not going down. I have a lot of followers and a few different accounts so it will be a loss for me. Perhaps yeah they should sell to Google and then I will have all my accounts safe Twitter Killed Its App Vine

I'm glad I don't use Vine. It really sucks when you commit to a platform, and then it goes under.

I think Vine was a pretty cool site, I don't see why they closed the service down. They probably felt like it didn't make as much money as needed and decided to close it down completely.
