Improve your Website with Eager

Earger.io is a website that allows you to install multiple plugins to any platform you want, such as : wordpress, joomla, drupal, or even simple html5 templates. You need only to register an account which is completely free, and then you can choose to install any apps you want from the dashboard menu.

After registering your account you need to set your website ulr there, then you will need to paste only a simple script code to your website , or to that page where you want to install the plugin.

I’ve been using eager for awhile and I thought to share it with you, and what I like from it is that you can use it as CDN(Content Delivery Network) too, because all plugins are hosted to their server, so that won’t slow down your website speed.

They offer plugins from the following categories as is in the photo below.

Keep in mind that installing is only one time, then you can update/delete or change your apps from eager dashboard menu, everything it will be updated in real time so don’t worry about cache.

Hope you’ll like it!

You're welcome Lynne! It really is a great service, specially for people who are not familiar with coding, and editing scripts, also it will save a lot from your time as all plugins can be activated/deactivated instantly and very easily.

Thanks, I am just getting confused by the price after reading all the comments here. Is it free or $499 a month?

Service itself it's free, it may have some apps that are not free but still most of them are free.

Dude, Eager is an awesome site and service! I've had a look through and checked it out. At least the free WordPress only version. You didn't mention that the free version supports WordPress only and that their only other plans are the $499 a month one which gives you everything in the WordPress-only plan and ship plugins to other major CMS platforms, including Joomla and Drupal.

But the free version is still awesome for people that want to use a WordPress plugin on their non WP powered site. I was just today looking for a good sitemap generator that could generate and output both an XML and HTML sitemap with timestamp, change frequency etc. I'm guessing then that I could use Eager and the WordPress Google XML Sitemap plugin. I guess I could then use other plugins like caching and CDN etc.

It's quite novel really and cool that you can do it for free.

Will let you know my experience of in the future.

Cheers!

Mike.

Ok, I didn't mentioned the $499 version because it's stated clearly that is for SAAS(Software as Service) companies, so it means that the $499 plan is for those companies who wants to offer softwares as service, or called else softwares in the "cloud". Now, all apps that you see in their app store are free and can be installed on all platforms, such as : wordpress, joomla, html templates, and drupal. Personally I've tried to install some apps , on wp, drupal, joomla and html, and they worked 100%, you just need to register the correct url of your website then to upload and activate plugin which you've downloaded from eager.

So wait, let me get this straight, with Eager you can use Wordpress based plugins on other platform based websites like joomla? What about magento?
I really need to test the free version, 500 bucks for the paid one seems very very expensive, at least for me! And as procoder said maybe this feature is only destined for big agencies.

Just rechecked again and it seems that "Magento" it's not included as platform that you can use to install plugins, but I'm sure that you can embed their js script to your site without uploading any plugin.

I'm not familiar with Magento, but that can be done very easily through source code of the website, so just make sure to integrate it in that page where you want to install the plugin, then you can confirm if installation was done correctly through their dashboard menu, it will show a message if the embedded script is detected by eager.

Thank you for sharing this tip about Eager. I have come across new websites from the discussions here that I am thankful for the added knowledge. However, I don’t have the penchant to install plug ins or any software just because I had read it and it gives an advantage. I have to study it very if I really need it. Our home desktop is an old one which sometimes have difficulty in handling new software.
